This is a case where the jury is still out, but I\'m not expecting a favorable verdict. A few months ago (July to be exact) I started expermenting with thinning metalic paints. I posted the bronze paladin to the CMON boards. I think it was the first time I was able to get a photo that managed to hide all the bad features or at least make them good because she currently has a good score.

You can\'t even tell from these photos that she has little orphan annie eyes.
(I\'ve gotten better since I started using pens for eyes.) Some people have asked for a close up. Here is one where you can see the bad side of thinning the metalics, it sort of has the texture of vertigris up close.
Yes I realize that the base looks like the top of a paint pot. The \"Heroic Base\" I bought to see what it looked like did look exceptionally plain and I did try some highlighting techniques to get depth to the round indentations, but I didn\'t realize how much it looks like a paint top until someone pointed it out to me. I just like to put my lady paladins on a high pedistal.
