Hi! I am starting this kit my brother and his girlfriend gave to me for my birthday. I hope I dont ruin it!
I started by assembling the 2 lions. I had a few inconveniences while doing so and I had to use Epoxy putty to fill the gaps (mostly when attaching the heads to the bodies). I sculpted the putty to make it resemble the lions fur. It looks good, but it is noticeable to the keen eye that there "is something different" about that part of the fur.
Later I gave the mini a base of Humbrol enamel 170 matt (apparently it is so old that Humbrol doesn't have a pic of the color in it's website anymore). You will see the color on the attached pictures anyways.
I also painted the inside of the mouth with 1 part white (humbrol 34) 1 part red (humbrol 60) and the eyes with a very light sky blue (humbrol 56).
Any word of advice will be appreciated!
