As far as I know.....
this is the only ship model that there is of HMS Victory as a storyboard diorama, complete with scale figures .I have searched the web and I have never seen another anywhere in books, mags etc...
If anyone out there knows of another I sure would like to know about it ,if for nothing else just to satisfy my own curiosity .Thanks! Cheers. John.

Classic Marine type Dolphins.
This is where my other hobby woodcarving came in handy.I carved this classic design from cherry wood. Two of these plus a center piece, screwed into the base, support the ship. The base itself is African cherry wood of a slightly different color and the plexiglass cases base is American walnut. All these woods were especially selected to harmonize with the ships copper plates.

Wow, they even had guns mounted up in the masts? That's nuts. It's like a wooden Star Destroyer.

What's the deal with the dude chained up in the crow's nest with the marine guarding him? Was that a common way to punish sailors?

Great stuff!

My granddad have done tons of boats (even the USS. Arizona which came to be somewhere about 4 meters long, dunno what scale that is though). And I'm really impressed, especially with all the rigging.

Having sailed this ship:

Across the Atlantic from Sweden to the Caribbean I know the complexity that involves rigging a bigger ship, and you sir, portrayed it excellent!

It's humbling to see things like this. It makes me realize that while I'm a simple hobbyist, you are a true craftsman at modelling.

Kudos!
