Close call! I nearly \'primed\' a bust with gloss black once, and I have no excuse that it was late or anything.Originally posted by Master of fact

Here\'s to hoping that this turns into a \"You Know You Need to Stop Painting When...\" thread!

I swear... dropping minis is the bane of my painting existence! It generally happens when I\'m repositioning the piece to do something.
Do you hold the mini directly, mounted on a cork or one some other kind of handle?
well i dont use gw primer now, so that shouldn\'t be a problemOriginally posted by Dragonsreach
I\'m probably about to curse myself but I\'ve never even come close to this as I keep the Varnish in the house and the Primer in the garage.
Well then may I recommend a peek at the following threads:Originally posted by CreganTur
Depends on the mini, really.Do you hold the mini directly, mounted on a cork or one some other kind of handle?
The Tyrant of Vile-Tis I just put up on the WIP section: I hold it by its base, unless I need to move it into a strange position to reach something. Generally I have the base kind of cupped in my hand, with my fingers wrapped around it.
For small minis, I generally hold th emini itself- especially Reaper minis, with their non-existant bases.
