Hmmm, I wish to buy this mystical fence you speak of, as I appear to live above it.

If you buy it you\'ll be giveing your self a great model that looks pretty awsome, and it\'s a great conversation piece (\'Oh what a pretty...umm..box with wings\').

On the other hand it seems that you may want to get something else with your money (maybe an entire army for what it costs). In the end you will have to put it together, paint it, find a place to put it, find a use for it, find an excuse for why you paid armfulls of cash for a plastic toy.

Part of the cost has to do with the economy of scale - 500 styrene plastic kits (tanks, plastic spacemarines etc) are going to be cheaper to make than 50 resin dragons - in part because of the differences in the molding process, molds used etc, and in part because of the cost of the materials. Currently plastics are reletively cheap (although I miss the heady days of the 1980\'s when quality plastic models were going for 5-10 bucks and cheap ones for under a dollar) due to the low cost of oil. From what I understand resin is harder to make than standard plastic, so it costs more.

PS - BUY THE THUNDERHAWK - just thought I\'d join in on the peer pressure here. lol
