I want to try making a snow base but I have no idea how to go about doing it. I have heard that baking soda is good but im not sure. Should I just go to a hobby store and find some snow flock?

Living where I get to observe a lot of it first hand, you\'re very right, Mouse. On a sunny day, freshly fallen snow is very white, but in inhabited areas, this doesn\'t last long. It quickly gets stained or dirty and becomes mostly a mix of whites, grays and browns. This all depend on how old the snow is, temperatures, and an assortment of other things, but for the most part, snow doesn\'t stay pristinely white for very long.
