I started at the age 11, now I\'m 31 so I dread to think.
What sickens me a bit is, as I have improved with my painting I use to throw out my old collection. There are probably some Rogue Trader marines and Imperial guard still battleing there way out of the local tip.

Well, I chose a value that\'s close to what my collection is worth even though a lot of it wasn\'t purchased as much as acquired.
But I am going to talk to my insurance agent about making sure this stuff is covered sufficiently. One minor fire and I\'ve got a very expensive lump of metal.
So there are people who don\'t treat you like an idiot when you say you want to insure a lot of valuable minis, then? I am surprised but impressed. Who did you get to do the valuation, and did it seem reasonable? And what was it based on? Current market value? /nosyOriginally posted by demonherald

Is a very good point.. I had my collection evaluated and had a talk with my insurance company.. Turns out it only cost a few quid more per month to upgrade and cover those contents seperately. Well worth it for the peace of mind and I recommend anyone who hasn\'t already gives it some thought.
