\"The little town with a huge pair of balls\"

W..T..F!

I don\'t believe that.....:duh:???

Christ..I thought I lived in a remote and uninspiring place...

My favourite quote was:

\"Mike will be on hand to lend a hand and inspire the kids to dream!\"

On average, I think I may be doing 6 or 8 hours of painting per month. Of course, the actual painting frenzy might be longer than that, but then again, the dry spells do last more than a couple of weeks each.???

I join those who say, \"not enough.\" I want to do a lot more painting, but unfortunately school is keeping me a bit busy.

I\'ve got a break coming up in a couple of weeks, and hopefully I\'ll be able to be motivated after a day or three of rum. ;)

Although, I should be getting on a good painting frenzy next weekend. I\'m doing three painting events at Dragonflight (a local con): two \"Mini-Painting at Midnight\" sessions, which are basically (hopefully) just \"jam\" sessions--people who want to can stop by and sit down and paint, swapping tips and such. I\'m also doing one actual painting seminar, where I hope to cover some of the basics of layering, since I\'m billing it as a \"intermediate\" level class (not going to do the \"basecoat, wash, drybrush, done\" technique).

Sometimes 15 hours a week when I\'m in the Zone and other weeks I hardly get to sit down to slab some primer on a miniature. It all depends on whether it flows or not.

And where on that page can I find a video?

Too much or too few, but never the right amount.

When I have a go I spent up to 10 hours painting, only leaving my room for something to drink. This normaly leads to lacking concentration and the urge to get finished, prodicing rather mediocre minis (alway seen in my own relations) at least in the later hours of my working frenzy, still finding myself unable to tear myself away from it.

The other extrem is when I sit down too paint and get distracted after so much as prime a mini or do a minior detail only to return to it after some minutes. The minis I beginn in such a mood tend to remain unfinished, because I\'m never satisfied with the color- choice or shading/ highlighting, unless I have a heart and stripp them (which I rarely do) or overpaint them ( which I also rarely do, for I hate start again on long half- finished minis).

Interstadials are the bits between ice ages when it warms up and people get to go for a wander meet new creatures and and try out their new pointy sticks with bits of flint on them. Implication that I dont paint much and DR is getting on a bit :D
