i rather enjoy your work and it is much better than tabletop. i would reccomend going online and finding a few sites with basic charges. bluetablepainting.com is one that has a run down that comes to my mind. i would also not feel bad about paying at least $100 for the celestine. its a fantastic job. hope this helps.

I can\'t say much as i only charge $20 a pop. But if you do a search in the forums i can find a butt load of people asking this same question and that might give you and idea.

Try floging a few pieces on ebay to see what people are prepared to pay for your work. This is the best way to determine what it is worth.

Both examples you provided are very similar in colour and style, with commission work are you prepared to move away from a \'comfort zone\' to paint exactly what a client requires to a similar standard?

the style and colour are pretty similar, simply cos they\'re designed to match into the same theme ;). so yeah, i\'m actually more than happy to try for differences in style etc, given i mostly paint for enjoyment and challenge, and don\'t mind playing around with different style of painting for my own enjoyment

anyways, thanks for everyones replies, and i\'ll try and track down other threads asking the same
