i am just glad everyones ok
yeah it was weird that everyone headed right into the storm...but you know, channel 8 had that the storm was going to go where it went, the wednesday before the storm hit.
:mental note...always watch channel 8 for weather:

I was out for the weekend but I have read now all the messages in sequence with different sensations... fear, partecipation and then relief when I have read that you all were safe and posting.
Here in Italy I have only seen a couple of news about the hurricane but all the video were really scaring so hwen I have seen the thread I was praying that noone was in the path of this monster.
Well.. now I can reach the bed and sleep better.. glad you all are ok

Ugh, I was just looking at the news and while Charley is over it looks like weather has caused trouble elsewhere as well.
Cornwall has had severe flooding causing damage and stranding people and more than 160 death in China because of a Typhoon. The flooding we\'re having in the SW of the Netherlands is just peanuts compared ot all that!
Anyway, I\'m glad all that had to do with Charley are ok and if anybody is in the other disaster areas: good luck, I hope you\'re ok too.
