Gorgeous! Not as visually stunning as some of your \'more famous\' stuff, but, still technically flawless.

Your super high rating is completely deserved!!

How different from the WIPs can you get! You must really have layered up and up and up unless you changed scheme. Very nice work squire. 10 for technicality, 9 for the overall, but scoring 10 from me for a round-up lol

That suprized me too, how different the WIP was to this one. The first was a quick photo with a reveal bulb (just 1 light source). Where as this is taken with 3 diffused Full-Spectrum bulbs. I actually didn\'t touch most of the mini since the WIP photo, except for numerous small touch ups of course. What a difference a photo can make!

For some reason I just couldn\'t see how wrong that first photo was (color-wise), but this one should be accurate (I held the mini next to the screen this time to check :D.

But the dress is shaded up from shadow grey to skull white, so it definately was never that purplish-blue from the WIP...

@Equus I love the new painting set up! I have natural light on 2 sides of me and it\'s a big workspace, I\'ll post photos of the set up once it\'s not a total mess from my move still :D

Very beautiful, but otherwise would be unacceptable from you! ;) This is one of my fav Reaper minis, and I had actually forgot I had already bought it. Maybe I\'ll paint mine up too... if I can find the time! :(

Heh...I hear that about the lighting and pics making a world of difference, though it\'s pretty surprising to hear how much. Please do post a pic of your workspace and photo set-up (if you haven\'t already)

My very only tiny nitpick...

Did she transport to the spot where she\'s standing? Because with that length of dress, the snow would\'ve been disturbed by her passing, but there no marks around her. I suppose you could call it \"artistic license\" but I\'d have liked the touch of realism it would\'ve added.

Other than that, she looks flawless!

and i didnt notice the dress thing. but then again i wasnt really looking at the bottom. ;)

the very first thing i noticed was how the NMM Gold and Hair were very close in color.

not that thats a bad thing at all...just the first thing i noticed.

I do really like that turquoise. you are good at that color. :D

Eric, she\'s beautiful! Love the sparkling crystal, looks so realistic. Also great to see you working with such light colors.

As mentioned on the other forums. Stunning. I really like how well the whites pop on this one. Now I need to go find your recipes for her as I know you posted them.

Yep, it was actually my intention to make the hair, and nmm gold similar, because the hair was such a bold color, where the rest of the mini is more subtle colors, if I hadn\'t balanced it in the miniature with the gold nmm, I think she would have come across as...\"top-heavy\" in terms of color saturation.

Becca, Hawk Turquoise is definately becoming a favorite color, especially after seeing it used so well by Margo as well :)

The Crystal...was actually really really simple to do! It\'s really just a enchanted blue to white blend like you see, with very slight lines running along the crystal to give it a little appearance of light through glass. I think sometimes it\'s the simple stuff that comes across so well.
