I will again restate what I said. If YOU choose to continue down the path of flame baiting (which you currently are doing with me, and you have done several other times already). I will begin to delete your threads. Why do you take that as an attack? It\'s your choice to do so. It\'s my CHARGE to take care of it.
yes i am picking a part to respond to because i think making things smaller sometimes help to explain them. above you can see where my view of an attack comes from.
you will delete my threads. proper moderation would see that offensive POSTS are removed, but you are threatening to delete entire threads created by me for no reason other than your own disliking of me.
i can see no other way to view this than that. maybe the first time you made a mistake and meant to say posts, but as it has happened more than once i figure it was no simple mistake.
when a moderator jsut takes to deleting someones thread then that is an attack from the moderator to the user based on personal bias.
do you see where i am coming from now?
now that i have that out of the way and hopefully have it explained i will go on to read the remainder of the quoted post.
if you still do not udnerstand how your statement came across as a threat, not as a moderating action then i do not know how to better explain it, but will try if you would like.
EDIT: the other parts of the thread
i don\'t target people or minis and vote 1. the things i vote 1 on are few and far between anything else. i have my voting system since none can be agreed upon for standard use so i use it. if that isnt right to do then a better voting guide should be here to give a baseline of what to vote on. i feel i have said this before...
i have little emotion in my critiques. the comments i leave that i have emotion about are usually the minis i am dumbfound by their brilliance. i see no reason for destructive criticisms. the comment i have left recently with 1 ratings (notice ratings on comments are not the same as votes and do NOT to my knowledge count in the current voting structure as a vote) are because i felt an explanation of my vote was due to the gallery owner. as the thread that was deleted so was the single image it described, but the other images form that user showing cosplay items or even the working weapon still exist. it makes me wondeer was that single image targeted to get me to shut up as you may or may not prefer from voicing my opinion or did the image really not belong here in the context of the site? and if so why do the other images remain. the artist has good painting and design skills, but do the non-minis belong was my point of reference for leaving the comments and my votes.
you are the only one i see having a fit over my critiques of the site moderation and keep claimg I, I, I rather than we. so it seemed you were the only person that had to handle it. no other moderator has made it known to my knowledge that they also handle the image activations or comment moderation. but i have seen lately you saying you do it. so without all the information a such as the moderator list on each forums herein one can only come to a conclusion based on the information they are given.
why not have a list of moderators that says who do what in with the statistics page so it doesn\'t appear to all be done by one person?
what you see is disruptive may have been the course as i stated above \"get thicker skin\". that comment is thrown around by people too often it seems. is the community made up of robots or humans? while the moderating staff needs to be a bit unbiased and thusly inhuman or uncompasionate in their work, should the other users no matter of seniority (length of time being a member) or post count be allowed to be rude and such just because of how long they have been here?
as the OP here pointed out in this (i now realize) aged thread is there a problem that may be seen by new users in the way they are treated? and it seems by his gallery that either the OP has got busy or possibly left because of the incident.
which would seem to be a problem the community has and why i mentioned above what may be seen as some as an elistist attitude. i would much rather see a place that can bring all together in painting rather than an elists atmosphere cause i am sick of those from LGS\'s to manufacturers, etc.
they boast how they want new people and want to make a good place, but in turn do the same thing to \"newbs\" (i still so hate that word).
oh well you are new so we will use this philosophy to get you up to speed and through you head first into the water and you will either sink or swim.
or
you are new so your opinon doesn\'t matter.
and those new people get time under their belts and in turn do it to new people because it was done to them.
this vicious cycle needs to end somewhere or there will never be a place where new users don\'t feel slighted and possibly unwelcome. and sadly this trend is getting worse with the growth of the internet and forums and communities in it.
does this addition here and the above better explain my stance on it?
none such that i was callign you out, as stated above, but you were the only one that responded in any way the way you did, so i was responding to your posts as i would any other user who showed a bit of civility and intelligence in their posts.
all be it this thread probably serves no further purpose i would suggest further discussion along theese lines be moved out of the forums software allows for it and mauybe into either general discussion as its own threads or even the suggestions/feedback forum.
not sure if that is a built in function or not but jsut a suggestion to prevent further semi-derailment of this thread and palce the focus back on the orignal topic rather than you and myself \"bickering\" for lack of a better word ATM.
