uh-huh....What has given everyone the right to be so judgmental on others? children are dressed by their parents form what is available and what is fashionable, what girls were wearing when any of you were at school would have been considered outrageous in earlier times.
How do you judge children in parts of Africa and some other 3rd world countries that are naked all the time? would they be classified in the same way?
Perhaps you would prefer muslim shari Law? make all females wear birkas?
You surely have the intelligence not to judge people on their appearances?
Perhaps if you look at young girls as sex objects you should seek counselling.
I don't think the real issue is about predjudice or passing judgement here. Nor particularly finding little girls sexually attractive.
I agree in part with what Chern says about giving these girls the responsibility. Although it gals me that these kids are, in fact, trying too hard to grow up. The biggest fact of the matter is that they are in no way mentaly equipped to even fully comprehend the full nature of it all. In fact it doesn't go much further than "If I dres like this i'll get more respect like that woman off the tv, and maybe joe will like me". What it does do, is seemingly create a fake bubble around these people. A bubble in which the kid becomes quite possibly
too sure of themselves, and therefore more vunerable. Which, i'm sure anyone will agree is never a good thing for a kid.
I don't particularly think a childhood is a modern invention, there is a time to be a child and do the things that children do. I'm sure pretty much everyone here can look back and think "Ah, y'know what, maybe good old ma
did know better than I did back then", without exeption i'm sure. These kids, by their actions and their struggle to be more like their elders, emulating TV, magazine models etc just seem to have this "I know better, i'm grown up now!" misguided conception amplified.
I can tell you that misconception landed me in hot water when I was growing up, and I was under no real illusion I was an adult by full account. When these people hit the teens the defication is going to hit the ocsilation in a grand fashion.
