No day off for me =)
I had an hour off yestoday and thats it. We Derby folk aint no pussies like the rest of the UK!!

Bear in mind i live in the inner city, not the peaks, a few of my mate living a bit further out got 2ft and they got to college..

We\'re enjoying some lovely 75 degree temperatures here in the valley of the sun. Snow? What\'s snow? Never heard of it! lol

Every time it snows here in Connecticut we get about...10 inches. It probably snows about every week. It\'s snowing right now, I got to go home from school early, and it\'s supposed to continue into tommorow morning so.... one can hope.

And it\'s mostly the East and South East that\'s been badly affected, the rest of us just got on with things. Unlike London Buses lol.

o.k, so it snows. great, school might be shut I think, it isnt, but half the pupils cant get to school. same with the teachers. Whats the point we ask, but we are ignored. We are aloowed outside for ten mins at break, but at lunch we are forced inside for an hour. This sucks badly, but y\'know its ok... itll snow more tonight, so schools off tomorow right?

due to the excessive amounts of patio heaters, it does not snow, it rains. All that remains is ice and slush. a quarter of the pupils still missing, school continues. We are not allowed outside during either lunch or break due to the ice.

Although the forecast seems to be changing what seems like every few minutes, the forecast is currently for more snow tonight, meant to start here around 10ish and be pretty heavy, Bath is around midnight. Tomorrow could well be leathal if everything freezes.
I\'ve actually found my hat out as a 40 minute walk home is currently quite chilly (no its nothing to do with thinning hair line...)

Edit: I\'ve had the sum total of nothing off as well, the boss has actually said that she\'s expecting me to turn up regardless of conditions as I can walk in :s

even here in sunny poole right on the coast snow is falling on the marina i live on, apparently snow doesnt settle on salt water, who would have thought it lol lol oh well time for a hot toddy :drunk:
