It was there and now it\'s not!

I don\'t think there is any danger of that...

I\'ve never removed a thread, I don\'t think Mike has. Borg has, on a couple of occasions when they have become virtually libellous.

The way the system works, is that if you start a thread and subsequently remove that initial post all the subsequent ones are stripped out as well, and of course, everyone has the right to delete their own posts.

Sounds like FF just changed his mind, which he is quite entitled to do. I have done it myself on occasion when I have had second thoughts about my level of \'directness\':D

So the big mystery remains......
Who asked FF to remove the post???

Thats enough stirring from me anyway:D

Sorry FF, you\'ve got to talk old boy! That\'s a ham-fisted approach otherwise. It would make more sense to just explain who suggested you take it off...or is there a shady underground alliance of do-gooding a-doing?

Or he might just be being polite, and not dragging the person out into the open for a public flogging. :D

I honestly don\'t see the reason for all of this other than people liking to make drama.

The site has 3 rules, they\'ve been broken to some degree twice in the last week, and were resolved. Some people were critical that they were resolved in public and not private, which was their opinion and fair. So then FF made a post that upset someone, and on his own decided to remove it, which is his choice, it wasn\'t about censorship, (which would be something to discuss). So it was handled in private instead of public...and some others are critical again. The issues have been resolved it seems to me, all that is left is making drama.

All I\'m saying is that perhaps use our current obvious over-abundance of energy for painting, painting critique, etc...rather than creating or stringing out drama. Is that lame? it might be your opinion, not in mine.

If Nathan feels hurt by something (which it doesn\'t seem he does) then we do have an issue because he and his minis are a valuable part of the community, and it would be important to find a resolution.

However, other than that, perhaps we can all take a lesson from Margo, who has more to be upset about than anyone else here but has taken the high road and shown us all a little of her class.

PS yeah, yeah, I know I could have taken my own advice and not posted here and used that energy in another place. But no one\'s perfect :(

@ Nelson: Fair\'s fair...still, I stand by my forum thesis. It applies to this one as long as I\'m in line with good ol\' Chern\'s gubbins.

It just smacks of shadiness is all. Why do it in the first place? Pile of whiffy poo is what it is.

What about me?

Eric, it may all be a little dramatic, but all the private arranging behind the scenes discounts one particular issue, and that\'s the issue of me posting a response and not being informed of the removal. I kind of feel that I belong! It cheeses me right off I tell you. No-one but a mod should be able to remove mails to my way of thinking. It\'ll make people use their brains a little more than they do.

The Ultimate Words of Wisdom!!!! I believe I shall have that added to teh family coat of arms, or perhaps carved into my tombstone lol

@reverend - All seems like a bit of a tempest in a teapot to me. Certainly not up to the level of throwing scandalous terms like \"WIFFY POO\" arouind just willy-nilly :duh: My God! Think of the children!!!! lol

He he! I fling poo whenever I like! My hygiene may suffer but it satisfies me lol.

Tempest in a teapot reminds me of a song by Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine when they mentioned something about a storm in a teacup only to bounce back with \"...more like a teacup in a storm!\"

Nice twist on those words I thought :flip:.

That\'s the ting....the itnternet was bust but it was the phone socket all along. All fixed up proper-like :).

Carter are the mutt\'s nuts. What a band. Get the Straw Donkey album for a good overview. Post-historic Monsters I enjoyed as well as The Love Album.

Anyhoos, to work, and BEYOND!

I\'m here, but its most definitley you he\'s talking to.

Rev: I don\'t complain when you post, I just strip naked and smear myself with Feacal matter. My own when possible, but I\'m not fussy. Doesn\'t go down too well in internet cafes.
