went to sea Eat at the T&C in 92 with an aussie girlfriend at the time; she saw this guy in a cool t-shirt and started chatting to him and his girlfriend.
Turned out to be JimBob from CUSM, then Fruitbat turned up. Then I realise the Wonderstuff have turned up too and there\'s me trying to be cool and non-plussed by this.

And my girlfriend had no idea who anyone of them were!

Nice bunch of guys thay all were too!

Way back in 90-91, at a Carter gig supported by Neds Atomic Dustbin maddest gig in my life!!! And my mate Carla shot down Clint from Pop Will Eat Itself. Came back Black & Blue, great days. @ Derby assembly rooms where they originally held the Golden Deamon etc...

God I feel old now!!!

I thought about that....removing a few of the posts I started could cause a mad rush back to freakhood for several folks!!

about the \'frocking\' thing...I was trying to use a play on words, but \"de-frock you\" just didn\'t have the right ring to it!!!

Mid-Late 80\'s indie revival...

THis is too much to take. I loved Ned\'s. At least I Loved their Ned\'s album with Kill your Television and all that stuff. Got a best of recently and apart from two tunes the rest was terrible. Wonderstuff were tops as well, not to mention Jesus Jones, The Wedding Present, PWEI and the whole bag. Happy days indeed.

Vince, if you de-frock me I\'m knackered....I\'m going commando! The Papacy would be dragged away from me :(.

Donga/Pete, you filthy swine. I bet you eat the stuff as well! You make me sick :|~.

I was listening to the Wedding present & Dinosaur Jr at the weekend. My flat mate is an old \'indie kid\' too. Then followed up by listening to Nirvana, Negative Creep (off Bleach, the best LP) aaahhh! happy long haired days.

Ah yes, Kennedy. What a tune. Going to see them in Bristol on the 27th. They\'re one of my favourite bands you know. In fact I have a fixation with them :).

Someone got blamed while another was responsible for the dreaded word association thread. I say that thread could be deleted to halve the number of freaks we have right now. lol

Shame I missed PWEI\'s latest gigs last month! And The Wedding present still going? Cool!
Neds were excellent - saw them supporting Wondersuff at Leicester De Montfort (with The Sandkings as 3rd support - remember their singer Jazman going on to do the \"Spaceman\" song on the Levi\'s ad?)

Good times indeed!
