I got back to Barnstaple Fire Station in 2 hours 41 minutes ! :flip: :flip: :bouncy: :flip:

Any ill affects?, you bet.But not the ones I expected. I thought my hips , knees and back would be the problem, how wrong I was.
My calves and shoulders are killing me lol.
My eldest daughter says its the lactic acid.....

Congratulations, Adie! Your shoulders are proabably sore due to carrying the breathing apparatus (that\'s what you were carrying, right?).

Maybe it\'s like Billy Connolly\'s theory about diced carrots, someone sneaks it in when we\'re not looking!

Yep I was carrying a breathing apparatus set on my back(approx 28 lb ).
It was that fascist that did for my shoulders.
You will have to wait a couple of weeks for an exact final figure ,( I did a postal drop as well.)
But I will post an approx figure on monday .

GOD bless .................VINCENTI

That\'s extremely good. I have done a number of marathons and half marathons. My first ever 20km time was just under 2hrs (but that was without 28lbs of extra weight!)

Addie, got a hot tub? A good soak is in order. Properly accompanied by a Rum & Coke helps take the pain away.

I have a friend who did 100 miles on his bike once in umm 8 hours maybe (I don\'t really remember his time). I was unimpressed as I had done 100 miles on my bike in under an hour...

But then my bike had 550cc. That\'s about the extent of my physical activity. :drunk:

Grats on beating your personal goal.

Well done Adie! I\'m trying to get back in shape this summer (bought my first bike since I was like 14, and have been hitting the trails for a few hours several times a week), so I know what it\'s like to push hard and beat your personal goals. Good feeling :D
