Been snowing most of the night here, we've had a couple of days warning and they haven't even gritted the main roads
Both the A roads I need to use are both closed :highfive:

So I'm not going anywhere today:smile-big:

I think you do it as an attachment, rather then using [img ] tags.
And that kinda looks like a snakes track. Or more likely a stick under the snow :D

We are expecting it to get cool this weekend: 44F/7C

What is this "snow" that you speak of?
:rotfl:
95f here at 10:00 this morning and into the hundreds by lunch time, I pray for a bit of snow and a mountain but will have to wait until I get home in March

minus 4 centigrade here. no wind so it feels warmer than yesterday. clear sky, not too much frost. this is how winter should feel

My computer says it's minus 7 Celsius and clear here... The lightpost outside tells me it is not snowing, the rest is pitch black though so I'd guess it's correct for the moment...

there are days when i do miss the great white north. no, really. but uncle sam moved me to the gulf coast, so now i don't get any snow. and the folk around here wouldn't now a cold snap if it bit them on the butt. ("55 degress?!? i'm freezin'!" - my wife) all i can get is 17" of rain in 3 days. good thing it isn't snow. can't nobody here drive in 1/8" of it. lol. y'all be safe.

Not like that's anything new, too much rain, too many leaves, wrong kind of snow... any old excuse, lol.

Quite unusual to see so much snow here in The Netherlands. But everyone is happy :) even the grumpy people who hate snow.
I've been outside today since 6 AM (had to do my newspaper round in a blizzard bleh).

Anyway, here are some shots out of my window:

01-2.jpg

First shot, the white 'road' in the middle isn't a road, its a ditch:p

08-2.jpg

Before it actually snowed heavy. If you look close you'll see some flakes going but was amazingly cold (I had to wear gloves over my gloves).

Another shot, made it when I was just home at 8 AM.

I can't look outside:(

My window! When I opened it, apparently a lot of snow fell in but I didnt notice until:

... I stepped on a huge big puddle of water:p

It's really nice to see some snow, but near me it went from really nice snow to really thick ice on the roads and paths, and it has snowed again today covering up the ice so it's going to be fun walking around tomorrow not knowing where the ice is.

It's been snowing the whole weekend here. In places the snow is half a meter deep. Where I live it's more like 35-40 cm, though, and in the city it is probably a bit less. Today it is also cold like hell. Nothing like the temperatures they get up north, but -7.5 °C is pretty cold with the moist air we have here (further north the air is usually dry). Proper winter, at least! :D

Here the snow is just like Ritual described, the only difference being the temperature, -10 to -15 during the day here. I LOVE it! :D Perfect clear skies, not a wind in the air, the snow is deep and sparkling in the sun... THIS is what winter is all about. ^^
