Your greens are getting muddy, how are you shading them? You seem to go from a bright yellow/green down to a muddy brown/green and it's killing your contrast (which could go higher too). Try using purple to shade your greens so you don't get muddy and you can control the contrast better. What did you want the armour to read as?

Thanks Zab, I was attempting a green lantern look. But as you can see I failed on that. I need a lot more work I think with shading. I will give the purple a try tonight.

here is a good example as you can see some purplish tones in the black on this drawing.

you have the highs right, you just need to cool down the lows with some glazes and washes or even wet on wet blending.

looking good! Careful not to lose those mid tones, welcome to the back and forth of blending ;)

Nice work. Make sure the step in highlight is not to harsh.
Either more stages in the layers or glaze back to ease the steps.

Push those contrast further Dodger , bring his face into the picture by making it lighter than the rest of the body and add a spot colour like a purple to really emphasise his face. Nice work .

(Just noticed I was not at end of thread :) this comment is for the marine guy in green )
You could also use red to or blue to make the shades, give a little different result. Test and see if you like it also as Zab said purple.
