You mean the one from Origenart? That is such a great sculpt and I like your version of it very much. I would have entered with that miniature here, but mine is at a nearly finished state right now. That disqualifies it. Somehow I can't get the skin colour right. It gives me headaches...
I was looking into that garage kits yesterday, but most of them are already painted? Where do you get these pure unpainted resin casts you used in last Anime contest?
And are they all around the 100$ price mark? That's a lot. I could get a pile of great minis for that value (or some cool colour sets)...

I'd forget ebay. The quality is usually bad there.
while E2046 also does recasts at least the quality is super. The prices even better.
The faun: yes the origenart one. It' s pretty cheap for a good looking bust.
Btw I most likely will paint some rackham chtonian larvae. It seem monstrous enough to me.

I may throw myself in, just to force me to paint something, I am just reading you all and complaining myself at why I can't paint. xD
I loved the god idea, so if I enter the contest I will do it with a god/goddess (too many monsters around). This way I will be killing some of my objectives for this year at one shot and maybe having a deadline, pushes me through the end.
Now on to finding a nice miniature for it, in time....

there are a number of sites, but e2046 is one of the most popular. but be sure to read the descriptions,... some are prepainted (and those are usually the ones with the heafty price tag). But most aren't painted, and the price per kit is usually around $50 or so. I recommend looking at the "anti-hero" stuff.
The best reason to enter a competition! I'm curious what your miniature will be!?

Damn it looks like I got carried away in the moment. I was just talking about this July competition with my wife and she looked at me like I was crazy and said 'how are you going to have time for that when we're on holiday?' Yep forgot about the 3 weeks holiday to Spain that starts next week! So looks like I may have to regrettably withdraw. Still I'll have limited access to the internet so will follow everyone's progress with interest and Artemis will just have to wait until I get back.
