@TheLost, the first one is based on the artwork from Howard David Johnson and it depicts Brünhilde from Norse mythology. Crystella is right about the second one, it is Queen Medbh from the Táin Bó Cúailnge legend.
I've decided on the forgeworld Warpfire dragon I've needed a reason to paint this for a while .
yes, it will be bigger then you think. I work in 1/7 or 1/8 scale all the time, and they measure roughly 10 inches tall or so. At 1/10 scale, I'm guessing it'll be 6 or 7 inches tall. The larger surfaces require a bit of a different skill set then minis however. "Smooth and subtle" count for far more then the "forced contrast" that you are used to working with does. Oh,.. and prepwork,.. DO NOT SKIP ON THE PREPWORK!!!,... be sure to take care of any mould-lines, pitts, gaps, or other imperfections up front. Because if you don't, they WILL show up in the final product.
Just my two cents,...
Just finishes building the Glottkin model. That was a sligth pain in the posterior. He needs alot of GS work.
Plenty of time to get bit sorted out before the start date![]()
Ugh. I just went through one of those months while painting for the NOCF. I sympathize. Try for the next oneI withdraw. Too much happening at work.
