I retract myself from the contest, the C'tan did not arrived today and beside I have to much work to do for Crystal Brush, Have fun Good luck everybody :)

skull primed, basecoated (washed out pics there is way more contrast than that) and fun color sketches done. i like rainbow tears myself - something like that me thinks with hearts and flowers on the sides back and top? Yeah maybe, we'll see.

Oh yeah sure webmonkey -_- Who the hell do you think i am?! NMM is hard enough never mind SENMM, but now I have to invent and execute some kind of HRSTNCC (Highly Reflective Semi Translucent Non Crystal Crystal) o_O I'm not a God ya know. Hell, I'm barely a monster :cow: ah f**k, wrong emoticon... or is it?

Seriously though,.. here's a peek at where I've managed to get with the flesh so far. Hopefully I'll get a day off soon so that I can sit down and focus on my paint for more then 20 minutes.

Just use the same technique that they use on swords and bottles :) be one hell of a paint job if you pull it off :D

Nice start you've there Webmonkey.....

Hi all. This is my current "progress". I met my friend in his workshop and I cut the base, sanded it and drilled in the part where the mouth will fit in. It will be a small optical illsuion as the throat is going deeper than you see on the front horizon.
Furthermore I cut the head so it is coming out of the water in an angle. Still some more sanding needs to be done with the green stuff.

I like your first version of the skull most, but in the end you have to decide. :)

Finally made a decision and ordered something today. Should be here Wednesday, then it's full speed ahead.

More contrast on skull and some practice on sketches at a closer scale to the skull for brush control and colors and placement, etc :)

Oh yeah that's that slug one from Rackham excellent gross creature! I hope your doing some slimy base.

Skull is coming along nicely.

Any way I'm done now. Not the best sculpt in the world but lots of fun getting it finnished and i particularly liked doing the tattoo and the banner.
