Well, this mini is almost done, but I just recently figured out how to set my camera to macro mode to take pics of my figs. I\'ve been painting for a looooong time (about 10 years, more off than on) but only recently progressed past basecoating and drybrushing (thanks in no small part to this site and this community).
The fig is a dwarf from the game confrontation that I am painting for my girlfriend. She absolutely loves dwarves, affectionately referring to all of them as \"Gimli\'s\". The pic quality is absolute rubbish as I need to build or buy a light box and get a camera with a timer on it, but I figured posting something is always better than posting nothing.
Pretty much everything on it is at a point where I want to consider it \"done\". I\'m trying not to spend a week at a time on a fig, rather using each to learn some new techniques. The sword looks much better in real life, the lighting that i have flattened it out quite a bit. Also, as I\'m sure you can tell there is a bit of a shine to the fig, this is mainly due to the lighting I had to use not being diffused. Other than that, I feel I\'m just a crossbow away from having a pretty decent looking fig.
Thanks to anyone that looks, any C and C is greatly appreciated, I just may not apply it to this fig and instead take it into the next I attempt.
