Fry is really looking good, the front side is great I like the colour choices it comes together well, I particularly like the greens and browns. nice boots too. See if you can even up the back of the coat with some watered down paint almost wash consistancy to even out the dark wash.

That is your best mini so far hands down. I like the colors and the little details on him the the dirt & blood on his shovel and shirt. Very good - now where is the voting link?

My next WIP.. I'm doing this one for a birthday present in March.. All I got is the priming done so far, hopefully I will have some skin tones starting tomorrow night. I have 4 days off starting Thursday, so I hope to get a bunch done. Thanks for looking..

Hehe my wife likes the fire maiden, I have to say its pretty cute :beauty:

I look forward to your progress updates, nice work on Mortimer, I think the scoring is a bit harsh but I think you have done a nice job on him. Good complementary colours and nice shading. Just need to work on the blending of the transitions and I think your score will come up.

Great mini! I want to change the hat out for a witches hat and replace the pole with a broomstick and put her horizontal - bam! Sexy witch :p

Thanks Canny, Bailey and Zab.. I'm not sure if her left leg needs more fill where it joins her body?, in the front picture.. I believe that it follows the curve of her underware, but I'm not sure if it's too deep of a space. What do you guys think?

Update on the pinup.. Got most of her skin done.. Might do some more highlights, maybe a little pinky in color..Let me know what you all think.. Thanks!

Looks good. For female figures you don't want to go too extreme with highlights and shadows, so if you add more font go too far with them. I'd add a little red to the cheeks. Try a thin glaze to build up some red in the shadow area. Again, don't go too extreme with it but I think a little color would be good. Overall she's looking very nice.

Agreed, don't push anything on her skin too far keep and highlights broad and smooth so that she stays looking like lady rather than, um...you know... ;)

Alright, great start to her, she is looking good. As above, a little pink in the cheeks and some almost pure white on the tops of her cheek bones. Remember to mix any of your shadow and highlite colors with your base flesh color so they don't look too much like an over madeup hooker.

Update - I added a little beige red to the shadow base color. Added the eyebrows, eyes, started the hair and clothes. C&C welcomed!

I like it, Her hair colour is a good choice, lighten up on the eye brows. My wife peaked over my shoulder and wants to know if her jacket is going to be blue, "woman look sexy in blue".

Hey now! That is looking really good! Here's a tip with the eyebrows. Take the predominant colour of the hair as your starting point then adjust as follows...For darker hair go one shade lighter for the eyebrows and for lighter hair go one shade darker for the eyebrows. That way they look more natural -unless you are specifically going for that "carpet doesn't match the drapes" type look like that lovely blonde girl has on Game of Thrones ;)
