It's great to see "Out of Business" in its finished state. You're more than welcome for the suggestions. I hope they helped. And I'm glad I could help you capture more of an authentic African feel.
I really like your 'Out of Business' diorama. In your next project, I think you could try to economize with space more, or simply add more details to the scene if you want it to include a good deal of 'atmospheric' space.
Her skin looks kind of flat and lifeless right now. Needs some kind of color even if its desaturated. What feel are you going for? Cold, warm? Is she at rest after combat or about to spring into action? Is she being coy or sultry? etc... whats the mood you are trying to set?
yep, a bit . i would knock it back with some mid tone glazes. OR go for really high forced contrast on this lady and she will look evil as all hell - but you would have to pick your light source and really stick to it That damn near killed me with Steampunk Leia -_-
Looks good from here you can add more but it doesn't need alot rem on a larger model abit more . Than glaze in purple blues to the lower jawline but very light she's a woman for god sakes no need to go crazy than you could mesh the whole thing to get her by adding red all over the face. Be very thinned thinner than you ussually go as each one dries look at it and look at it in diff rooms for diff light. If it looks good to you than stop . Rem everybody has a system and this is what I would do but your the artist it has to look good to you in you're eyes ... Go get em you handsome devil!!! Lol but this face is so far some of the best painting you've done. Your clearly improving each time!!
Well, it's been a year since I posted anything here. Real life kicked my butt, but things have finally stabilized somewhat. I've been still painting, not as often as I would like, but still working on some stuff. With the World Expo coming here next month, I've been trying to finish up my pieces for that. I have added some finished projects to my pictures, please take a look and vote if you want.. I do appreciate it. Feedback is always welcomed. Thanks.
Hello there! happy to see you keep painting ^^
Best of your three last submissions IMO is Boadicea (specially her eyes and face), followed by lilith and then the arena rex gladiator. keep moving those brushes mate!
