Another hasslefree mini for me!

This is the steampunk dwarven pirate using the head of one of the Hasslefree Grymn. He has a wonderfully expressive face which was a real pleasure to paint - it was one of those models that almost oainted themselves!

And to quote what I say beneath the mini:

I really enjoyed painting this guy, and he has a fantastic steampunk look to him (IS steampunk fantasy or sci-fi?), which inspired me to be a little more daring with his hair...

Yup! A DWARF with BLUE hair! and no beard! I went for more muted tones with the rest of his attire - a sombre red and various dark browns. I was really happy with the red - I had used a mix of US olive drab and burnt cadmium red and highlighted by adding more burnt cad. red, bronzed flesh and then a touch of ivory.

I even used woodland scenics water effects on his base! As you can see, he is tiny - about the size of a tuppence! *grins*

Very nice.Love the shirt.Nice colour choices all round and the hair sets it apart.Gun metals look good but not so sure about the blade.All round 9.

Well, you deserve credit for your tolerance, I suppose.

Nice mini, Peter! His face is very well done, and his undershirt stands out to me for some reason (possibly \'cause it\'s so damn good) Great blacks, too. They\'re always hard for me to paint....

You could become independantly wealthy!

That\'s a very cool, dark mini! Great job! The stubble is amazing, I have to try that myself.

(On another subject; I\'m quite tall myself, 183 cm, and my brother is over 2 meters tall!)

You\'re Scandinavian! You\'re all freekishly tall. Thats coming from me, @ just shy of 2metres (6ft 5in in old money). I bet you are blond as well!
