Just post something that arrived in the mail today, will not start them until later this summer but will be looking forward to them, rest of the figures still in plastic bags
Some work made on my bust yesterday. I have manly worked on the skin underneath the mouth yesterday and added some "pimpels" to the skin to create more intrest in that area, thoughts and improvments are very welcomed
Very nice & very realistic, esp like the eyes :good:
Just a general comment (nothing about your painting ) Ive seen so many versions of this mini now its almost impossible to do a 'new' paint scheme, thats why ive been put off buying this one
Indeed ten there are a lot of diffrent versions out there but it is a great mini to paint and also a pain in the ass all those wrinkels and so..
Thanks Oistene I am very happy with the eyes, got a good result on them.
Thanks all, Krule I haven´t seen one of thoose senmm version either, think it saved for Ten
I have gotten some feedback on the eyes that they where to green around the edges (skin part) So I have made some changes to that area. Also think that someone earlier mentioned it here for me, have now made some changes
This weekend is dedicated to a challenge I received from a friend, to paint 4 figures within 2 days. He thinks I need to become faster and be happy at a certain level for playing pieces well this is the result after one hour of painting the red capes on the four figures.
Finished with my fast painting stuff, atleast the first batch, really did enjoy it. Not the best result but still. I have spent 40 min on each figure for painting and varnishing them, so 3 hours for all of them.
I'm clearly doing something wrong. You did the Reds on those guardsman in 3 hours!!!!! That would take me months and still not look half as good. Bravo sir
I am using wet blending to get a fast result on this one, I found out that wet blending for me works better if the colours are not so diluted with water. Also got some better understanding of the techniqu watching this video from painting buddha. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wj5Ue72B1E8
yeah you shouldnt dilute the paint too much when wetblending, ben shows it excellent. i really envy(hate) his brushcontrol but i guess thats what you get when painting 24/7.
