Yeah it is a great place, parents summer house and very light and good painting condition and a great view also.

Today the DHL delivered some fun things to my door.

Compressor aero-pro htc 20a and a infinity CRplus 2 in 1

Now I just need to learn how to clean and use it... well that is for another day.

Me vs Airbrush

1 - 7

10 % Airbrushing 90 % cleaning, bubbling no colour coming thru... got to love a challenge. Need to test more settings on pressure and other things and see what will work for me and also more more practice to learn.

2 unfortunate marines have gone thru testing on with direct orders from there superior to stay put and obey my orders... they are wishing for someone else to come along and give them a nice paint job.

That's exactly what Giraldez uses on his book! Lucky man ;) he puts the compressor at 1.8-2 Bar or little less than 30 psi, if this helps you out.

I would also recommend you to start with the biggest needle you have to get some practice. If you just start using that 0,15 mm you will probably be cleaning all the time. I'm a noob on the AB and I got a 0,2 and a 0,4, started with a 0,2 and then changed to 0,4 and felt a big difference on easiness of flow.

And have a look at this writeup that Demihuman has just posted in another thread, it may help you too ;) --> http://www.coolminiornot.com/forums/showthread.php?55145-Demihuman-s-DemiWIP/page88&p=791009#post791009

Thanks maenas, I have found other saying that they work around 2 bar, I am currently using 1,5 bar but will go up again now that I have started to get a little bit more control. Nice link also and a good post from Demihuman.

Been doing some more very fast painting for a friend. did this four to the state they are now during two evenings with some time for painting :) Not the best "quality" but I am actually learning a lot about the different techniques I am using and will defiantly continue doing some faster painting. Also nice to finish models and not be looking all over them what is wrong and what can be better. Because on this there are a lot of those areas and not the pressure for it to be perfect in my eyes either.

It is figures for my friends imperial assault a really great game that we enjoy playing. Hopefully even more with some painted figures.

Yeah the bases are not finished yet :) but not much left.
