Have finally had some time today to paint and Nightingale was the choice for the day. So just started and got some colours in, and the face is getting close to be ready, eyes and some more skin toning left to do there.

Definitely one of the hardest figure I have ever painted.

Nice subtitle skin colors, mind if I ask what colors and mixes you are using? Do you start with a midtone and work your way up or down in colors? Sorry for all the questions, currently working on figuring out a good fare skinned process.

Start with rosy skin then glazes the darker areas with red and blue , read in middle of face towards the edges and blue on the lower part. (need to be careful not to overdo it).
Then I highlight the skin, just add a tiny bit of off white of some type to the skin colour

Awesome thanks, I always forget to try more colors in my skin, instead of just a reddish brown or darker skin tone.

She's beautiful. Just don't shoot her from straight on if she's got a lazy eye. That's how they get around it with Jennifer Aniston.

Whoa, I love the kitchen mage! She is from "twisted"? The mouse looks pretty darn good too. Are you sure you are going to be able to give it back to the kid-o?

It's definetly a mouse and has nothing to do with those skaven rats xD He's coming along very cute.
I like those mouse and mystics drawings and histories they are ace, is that game any good?

Yeap it is Twisted, she will also have a lamp and wings. In regards to the mouse I think it is best to give it back :) and it is very fun game to play also.

UPDATE :)

Mouse is finished, no pictures thou. 6 striking scorpions are almost done, some small things and basing left. Also decided to join in on King Maul paint along thing, had him base coloured since before and have now put down 3 hours scetching in colours that I will be using.

Thanks Maenas :) Next step is to go a little more brown/black in some shadow areas not everywhere. some should be blue/black others more towards green. Hopefully it will be good.

Interesting colour combination. It wouldn't have occurred to me, but it works really nicely.

I'm glad to hear that Mice and Mystics is fun - I was ogling it in one of my local gaming stores the other day.
