Anyway, I like what you\'ve done so far. A very nice(?) sickly look to the torso.

okay, so now I have spent many many hours on this guys face! I had to strip it to start over again.. and now my brush broke in two, and the only thing I\'m not happy with are those darn eyes! :cussing:

thankss tom, acually, I have loads of more paint on it, but it just turned out to become a bloody mess

I\'m not very experienced, but to me the whole composition looks really dark.
Noticing that there\'s a lot of stuff still primer black, I\'m curious how it\'ll look if things are brightened up with those. I don\'t really have any specific suggestions on what to do since I\'m so inexperienced, but I think a brightening of the rest of the composition might do the trick.
Also since your focus is an imperial navy pilot turning to chaos, perhaps the chaos emblem might should be your focal point.
Again these are just amateur suggestions, but you seem like you\'re screaming for help so I thought I\'d throw what I had out there.

anyways, I might not have made it clear enough, but this is a imperial navy pilot mini that turns to the dark side... but only miniature wise... it actually is a blood pact icon bearer that I have converted FROM a imperial navy pilot.

Hey Larre, there looks to be some nice elements to the piece but I think that everything is painted in distinctly different colours...the demonhost is blue and the clothes red...and then the banner is green...you need to link the tones together and you also need complementary colours in there aswell...I don\'t think the painting is quite as bad as you think, but what I would say is that the base doesn\'t look good atm...the snow makes it look messy and I don\'t understand why some of it is blue and the lower half of his left trouser leg is too? ???
In the end, you need to judge what\'s good and what\'s not in the flesh - photographs arenot always realistic representations of what the mini is truly like...I would say though that the face needs to \'pop\' out a bit more - at the minute there are two focal points and they are the brightest bits - the shiny metal and the demonhost. You need to centre the focus on him rather than his \'gear\'.
This has the potential to be a really nice model so don\'t give up on it yet!!!
