My lesson for today is, when you have a big yard don\'t make the mistake of getting the spray on weed killer (when your sod is full of weeds) get the shakeable pellets in stead.

My poor painting hand has a blister on the index finger now :(

Meg sounds like you need to invest in a push fertilizer spreader.. before you run off to Home depot though neck time check your local Craig\'s list or look to see if you have a local Free Cycle and and make a wanted post for a fertilizer spreader.

The other is find a good neighbor and ask if they have one you can borrow or see if they want to go half on one..its a handy device but one you will one use 4 times a year for an hour each time.

Don\'t take a nap on a roof, especially when it\'s got a decent pitch to it. :drunk:

DONT EVER forget NOT to drill some pin holes in your latest mini until very very late a night.

Being very tired results in a hole right through the head of the mini and a drill bit in the finger.
yelping in pain results in the drill bit getting snapped, the mini falling to the floor and weeks of work nearly ruined.

On a similar note, don\'t try to cut off bits of a metal mini with your knife towards yourself where it might be possible to drive the tip straight through your thumbnail and imbed it deep within your thumb. Not that I ever did that of course, it happened to a friend of mine... Yeah, that\'s the ticket.
