Lurkers?

I am neither a lurker, nor a poster. I only post a response when I think it is worth it. So I don\'t post a lot, especially since I went abroad.

I was a lurker for a while too, just didn\'t have much to add at first, and was too busy painting. I often wonder how Finn and Chrispy actually get any painting done with as much time as they spend posting?????

I jumped in right away - and I don\'t post all that frequently but that still must account for why I have just over 600 posts . . .
But lately I\'ve done the opposite - started out strong and now I lurk. Inevitably someone has already said what I would have so I slip into redundancy . . .

We should have a photo index of members. Maybe on our profile page. Who knew anybody looked like they did...
Well I\'m for sure a lurker because I read a lot of posts and articles, but almost never post.
Because I don\'t think I could add something to the discussion or subject.
I\'m not a master-painter like some of you that\'s why I\'m not gonna jell about painting technics wich I personally not have masterd jet.
I\'m also person who is not someone who\'s gonna post alot of useless posts.
So I don\'t post much
So I\'ll be a lurker
Maybe this will change over a few months Who knows???

I confess: I\'m a major lurker.
I\'m afraid it\'s a bit habit forming. I lurk on the CMON forums, headblast forums, games-workshop.nl forums, TMCW yahoo!group, 1listsculpting yahoo!group, minipainter yahoo!group, dutch mini-painters yahoo!group, masterclass miniatures painters yahoo!group, and I\'m a member of about a gazillion (spelling?) other yahoo!groups which I check once in a while.
I do post a message sometimes. But most of the time I don\'t have much to add to the answers allready given.
Then I also have the habit of feeling an enormous barier when trying to reply to something, but this is more something due to my current medical/mental situation.

I, too, lurked for a little while. I like to get the feel for a place before I start posting. It didn\'t take too long, hiowever, to surmize that this was a benignly insane and relatively friendly, accepting place.

I lurked for about a week. It took me that long to notice the forums. I still kinda lurk, because as Flashman14 said, I\'ll slip into redundancy. I usually visit this site from work and look for interesting techniques I can try out and inspiration. I usually try to keep my comments relevant (now watch someone go get another post of mine just to prove me wrong) and half the time I\'ll end up clicking the \"cancel\" button because it\'s either redundant or off topic. except for that thread about being off topic.
