Yes, I too am a lurker.

But with good reason (and probably the reason that others lurk too...)

I\'ve only started to paint miniatures in February, and I haven\'t painted anything that I\'m satisfied enough to post on this website.

Since I\'m new to the hobby, I also don\'t have anything intelligent to say about any miniature I see. Other than \'Hey! I like this one!\' I won\'t add to any discussion (quite frankly, I don\' think that\'s very intelligent either...)

Or is it?

Can a veteran shed some light on this, because I\'ve seen some amazing models that I\'d love to give kudos on.

Should I post some of my miniatures? My skill is improving, but it\'s nowhere near where I\'d like it to be. Would it be productive for me, would I get constructive advice (and I\'d love that, by the way)?

Paulie.. if you can get to a scanner or a digicam i\'d post a photo right away.. several have had lotsa advice from the entries discussion forum and improved radically. Go ahead man, i\'ll try to comment on them

Yep, I feel exactly the same as Paulie . . . I\'ve been a serial lurker for WAY to long, for all the same reasons... I\'m new to the hobby (about a year, or so, but not with alot of productivity - I stop and start as time permits, and lately I\'ve had none! (haven\'t touched a brush in 3 months)

I haven\'t wanted to post anything until I could post some pics, but I just got a digicam last week.
If I find time to experiment with it, I might post something soon.

I seem to have reverted to lurking! - pressure on time available combined with a disasterous photo of my vanila marine for the \"Boring into Art\" competition (which I havn\'t posted) has turned me off recently.

So I have only been keeping up with the What\'s New page and dipping into the forums occasionally.

Once I got to my 100 posts the allure of continual posting lost some appeal - this is not true for Finn of course

1) Basically, all my stuff is in storage as I have been in the process of trying to move house for two years, living in various rented accommodation etc.
I am not so keen as to set up a temporary workstation on a packing case, although if i had known two years ago how long this was going to take...

2) Whilst being really interested in minis, I am a very mediocre painter and to be honest, I don\'t really care what other people think about my minis. When I paint, I simply do it for my own enjoyment and simply as a way of relaxing.

When I am settled I may post a couple of minis when I get them out of storage, but these would be rare or unusual minis which people might be interested in and not because I wanted scores. I took up painting to get away from stress and competition I get enough of that during the day at work

I\'m a lurker too, although at my trial the judge kept on insisting it was called \"stalking\"

In reality I don\'t have any pics posted yet and I am not a good enough painter to help anyone out. Maybe this will be the kick in the butt I need to get some pics posted...
