Seems as if every one has forgotten about David Soul remaking it back in the very early Eighties.
Or Charles Bronson doing a version in the late 70\'s.

But I agree some classics shouldn\'t be meddled with, give the woman a reality cheque as hers seems somewhat overdrawn.

Haven\'t the Iraqi people suffered enough without having to be portrayed badly in a movie by a lapsed Catholic semi Jewish magic user who can\'t act and can only marginally sing these days?

If she\'s planing on making it about Iraq, wouldn\'t that make the US the Nazis?
Does anyone know what the Iraq national athem sounds like? For some reason I can\'t think that it would some as noble and up lifting against \'America the Beautiful\' as the French Athem did against the German.
No afence to the Germans or any Iraqis out there, but come on. That was a really piece of work that scenice.
