Mancave\'s First Annual Pantomime

Ok, there are cookies (ginger bread men, sugar cookies and chocolate chip, all home made) on the tables, milk on the fridge if you like to dip and 3 new drinks at the bar; Egg nog, Rum Slush and Peppermint patties.

Eggnog is spiked , of course

Rum Slush is equal part rum, cranberry juice and mai tai mix popped in the freezer to slush (won\'t really freeze) and served in punch glasses. Fru fru but will get you hammered pretty fast.

Peppermint patties are really good hot cocoa with peppermint Schnapps in it topped with whip cream and a peppermint stick.

Help yourself. I have turkey and ham in the oven for the decorating party and all the fixings and there\'s pie and gingerbread cake for dessert. Anything missing?

Someone turn on a game! There should be some noise! And crank up the caroles. Start with the Chipmonks and work your way to the more serious stuuf from there. Don\'t forget the Johny Cash!

Roger\'s not a happy bunny. Chesterfield lost last night.

And where\'re the non-alcoholic drinks? I guess it\'s milk for me, and lots of chocolate chip cookies.

On a good note, my \'puter worked first time this morning.

Poor Roger. There\'s other stuff to drink but if milk and cookies does it I have plenty. Need a cheerleader? I think I might be able to scare one up. Or maybe Virgin 69?

Anyway, Christmas has officially started for me - Mrs and Baby Bulp have been safely smuggled out of the country and I have 17 days of freedom before maybe going out to join them in Poland. So, I bag the recliner and biggest screen for the Spurs match tonight and I\'ll check out that costume Liz got for me later on - it\'s a larger box than I expected

Oh, and the first season of Heroes finished here in the UK (on terrestrial tv), so feel free to talk about anything from the first season. Just not the second. I know it\'s supposedly pretty poor, even to the point that Tim Kring apologised for some poor plot choices and promised it\'ll get better, but I\'ll watch it anyway, when it\'s on here, likely next summer.

Lights are up, and the stocking are hung with care. I don\'t think that you can see the tree anywhere.
(Boy, that\'s a lot of stockings....)
The Santa trap are set, in hopes that this will be the year we can capture that jolly old man.

The lights are working all over the house,
The fusses are fixed,
The power is flowing,
The neighborhood is browned out
from the power we\'re pulling,
So here I sit in this recliner,
relaxed with a hot cup of cider,
In the company of friends
nothing could be finer.


Anything else Liz, before I get this cherry picker back to the rental office?

Oh Lizzy darling, I\'m back from the football and in need of your magic hands - there were only five of us and I don\'t think I was really built for running around quite that much.

you do know the Cave has a hot tub......hot steaming bubbling with water jets at every angle to beat those sore achy muscles into jell-o.
Please notice the Big screen tv that ascents from a hidden place in wall of the hot tub and also a built in bar and buffet.

All we ask is not to pee in the tub....thats what the potted palm in for in the corner.:drunk:

OK so here\'s a Heroes question. If Peter Petrelli can fly after absorbing the power from his brother, why does he need said brother to fly him away to prevent him from blowing up the city?


Or is that bit answered in season 2. If it is don\'t tell me....

As far as I know it\'s never explained but I\'m no expert. I stopped watching the show.

He isn\'t able to use his multiple abilities other than one at a time. No invisible time freezing etc.
He wasn\'t in control of his fision ability and so couldn\'t stop it in order to fly.
Season 2 is over I\'m waiting for 3 \"Villians\".

And OMG Season 2 was GOOD!
