Well as I was hoping my package was indeed waiting at the post office for me to collect. Just got it home and got it open, and WOW, quite honestly it\'s a fantastic haul, some of which is being primed for painting as soon as I\'ve posted pics!

I got:

Looks like a resin High Elf. Which is perfect, as a mate of mine has asked me to knock together a colour scheme for a commission HE army.

A few cool metals. A Kislev archer that I love, LOTR archer, WOTC Gnome that kicks ass, another LOTR archer, and a Rackham mini with Scythe (sorry don\'t know Rackham that well). At least 3 of these are getting painted for definate!

A Fantasy Monsters Stone Giant in 15mm scale. I have a few ideas for this fella already, never really painted anything like him before. Sweet.

Not entirely sure what this is. Looks like a white plastic/resin mage/assassin model? He comes with 2 daggers, this one has really intrigued me. I did a dry fit of him and he\'s very sinister, if anyone can point out what he is I\'d appreciate it.

There was also Some Mighty Empires tles which will come in very useful.

All in all, a fantastic little selection, I love ME and will certainly be back for more!! Thanks cucaiothegreat!!

Hello homerjwho, glad you liked the miniatures.
I tried to send in a quite decent assortment. The resin miniature in your last pic is an excellent one from Troll Forged Miniatures.
Ciao

Well, it\'s a day later than intended, but cybersquig\'s package is going to the post office with me very shortly, and I\'ll be coming home alone.
Give it a good home, cybersquig. Whether you keep it or send it elsewhere. Someone, eventually, will love it.

Much excitement is being had I can assure you! looking foward to it, and the delay is irrelevant - we all have real life to contend with too!

The crouching dual-weilder is Ilsa from Reaper. There\'s a convention down here called MegaCon every march that has a Reaper Paint & Take where they basically give away minis and do painting demos. For obvious reasons, you get a lot of people who just kind of flail around a bit and then get bored. I rescued the mini from being thrown out by its disinterested painter, stripped it and then... never got around to painting it myself.

The mech is a Battletech Locust... I\'ve been cleaning through old boxes in prep for a move and I keep finding old Battletech minis from the 80s. I don\'t think I ever even tried to paint or assemble them back when I got them, and they\'ve been rattling around in boxes ever since.

The weird alien thingie is a weird alien thingie. Imogen was neat but the wings were a lot larger than I expected, which would have made her just too unwieldy for what I was planning to use her for. Great mini though.

Whee! I just checked on cybersquig\'s package. It\'s in the UK. He should get it tomorrow or the day after.
I love tracking numbers.
Sure, they cost a little more, but....

Raaaaaaggghhh!!! wwwoooooooo!!!

got package )
twas sent to work, so I have it here on the desk before me, sadly cameraless for now but watch this space... it would seem to be Warmachine\'s Magnus the traitor mercenary battlegroup, two vintage orcs from GW (circa 1985 or so if I\'m not mistaken!), a 52mm girl with very little on (show me a fully dressed one!) that I can\'t (yet) identify, and truly bizarrely, but in a lovely way, a set of minted canadian coins which feel strangely foreign and familiar both at the same time, with strange stuff on one side and queeny on the other! what a lovely little extra, thanks BarstoolProphet!

That 52mm girlie really would make a nice daemonette...

Still not had an address back from my reciever, or a package for that matter, but that bit doesn\'t bother me so much.

Nothing\'s got here from Australia, yet, but I figure that\'s literally as far as can be got from here, so it\'s bound to take longer.
Well, if it helps, the package I sent to Danl in Australia hasn\'t seemed to arrived there yet either. Must be going by kangaroo pouch mail.

Oh, well that\'s just great! Kangaroo\'s have horrible senses of direction. The only animals with less sense of direction that I\'ve ever heard of are lemmings.

I may never see them..

Sorry Barstool, I\'ve STILL not sent it  I\'m currently in the middle of moving to the UK and the box of minis has stalled on my desk. But I\'ll get there eventually...
