ME18 - Miniature Exchange #18 - FINAL LIST ON PAGE 4

I just saw a post from Trevor over on Wyrd. Seems he\'s been away.

Trevor love, did you get the minis I sent? I\'m really worried as a package from Roger sent a month ago hasn\'t gotten here yet. I want to make sure you get something. If they went missing please let me know.

So, I still haven\'t received anything, and it\'s been over 3 weeks since I\'ve heard from my sender, he never confirmed that he sent his package, and it would likely have arrived by now if he had sent it when he said he would. I\'ve pm\'d him a couple times to try to get an update and gotten no response. I\'m not sure what to do now.

Any suggestions? ???

My only suggestion would be to not worry too much. It\'s very rare anyone gets shafted in the exchange.

It\'s not uncommon for many users to only log into the site a couple times a month. It\'s easy to forget to check in, especially if you\'ve got a clear mind because you did send out your package like you were supposed to and weren\'t riddled with guilt.

Was your sender flagged? Some newer members sign up and never come back...I think there\'s timeframes for what is expected/allowed in the initial post for dealing with everything in the exchange.

So I\'d think maybe 2 weeks to respond would be reasonable. After that, if they\'d not responded at all yet, I might start wanting to shed a tear or two.

@khasmo

as quitemanes said, I don\'t think you should worry too much yet. your sender is not flagged and he\'s been reliable in earlier exchanges. and with all the holidays and stuff these days it can take some time. I had to wait like 3 months one time but I knew the sender was gonna pull through...

any way Happy New Year everyone!

I was supposed to send a package to pabloescobar pending the receipt of a package by Gapow. As of yet I haven\'t heard from either of them. I do know that Gapow shipped out since Starchaser got something. I guess I can send something out if I ever hear anything.

I still haven\'t received mine

My package hasn\'t arrived from USA yet, hence why I haven\'t unflagged sender. Could take weeks to get here though :(

The fact I\'ve sent my package to starchaser has nothing to do with me receiving anything yet, I sent it as I received conformation that the package that starcahser sent has been received and they were subsequently unflagged.

Hopefully it will be here soon :)

Brushlicker and Freak!
Sorry for not replying, but I\'m back now from being chased by sharks and watching turtles and I\'m now freezing my butt in the UK. The package was sent from outback Oz, so it may take a while to arrive, especially with Xmas. If the Roos have nipped off with it I\'ll send another package.
:D

EDIT Yes my package arrived safely, its great, but unfortunately its on a container ship somewhere between Oz and the UK...

Maybe a rule about flagged senders only sending to their own country or at least their continent, to help speed up their unflagging, would be a good idea?

Has this come up before? I seem to remember thinking about it, not sure if I just meant to suggest it when some other sender was delayed being unflagged or if I read about someone else suggesting it.

Anyway, what do others think? Yay, nay or noone cares?

There is always an attempt to put flagged senders next to their receiver geographically - this time one really didn\'t work out.

Good news everyone, it arrived today!

I got a nice VOID Assault Synth sergeant, and some I have no clue what they are.

A small soldier on a horse, and a kind of lizardman, I\'ll get some pics up when I get home from work!

Great to hear!

... and yes I have a kind of rule to pair flagged senders with someone \"close by\" but sometimes it\'s very hard considering I have other things in the mix like preferd country/continent etc.

A bit later tonight I will put up a new sign-up thread for the next ME! the first of 2009! Yay!

Without meaning to confuse people as the new ME is up and recruiting...

Trevor\'s parcel finally made it to me, and wow! It\'s like another Christmas. There\'s a whole slew of stuff, and I can only identify maybe half of it, which is extra good, because if I can\'t identify it, I don\'t have it yet. :D
