Well I don't see why you were worried. I think the wood grains look great. You've also done a really nice job on the leather and the pattern on her shirt. Great figure, you should definitely finish this one up! ;)

I can not zoom in enough...is that straw texture or camo pattern on the cowboy hat? Another very cool mini. The saddle looks like it is aged and the leather has dried out...very Cool.

What the?.. This is some unholy amalgamation of beer keg and woman.. like a Beerataur.. MADNESS!!.. or.. GENIUSSSSS! (I'll say 40/60% )
Oh.. wait, the legs are missing? Oh.. still pretty good though.. But.. not a beerataur.
(Thinking out loud) Now I need to see about making one of those.. maybe Bacchus can help me in this project.

I'm very impressed with the freehand work on the hat, almost took it for granted and forgot you must of painted it on.
Milosh there seems to be a mark of paint on her right leg just above the boot?

Thanks 10, yeah I saw that while pasting the pictures. I'll correct that or add in a little tattoo.

Looking very nice sir ! The attention to detail is stellar as always really liking the pattern on the shirt and detailing on the boots

Thanks WGS and Zab. WGS, hopefully I will get the chance to paint that mermaid you just sculpted. Let me know if you get some extra copies of her made.

Added the tail and head to the wooden horse and started painting them. She is in the home stretch now. I am going to be adding hay on the floor of the base, that's why it looks a little weird right now.
