Hey Orkydave that\'s pretty damn fantastic. The head is incredible - really lifelike and the rest of it ain\'t too shoddy either. My only suggestion would be to tone down the metal bits. The base is nice too - excellent stuff and soo quick too :beer:

Nice orky dave,

Better than i would have done with it!!

I recieved my package this morning from TOXC,

I got 4 resin pieces,
wolfen warrior from confrontation (rackham)
Masqurade mini ? amazone with bow

ans a woman with extremely huge boobs and a mighty axe,

i will post pictures soon,

i got a little post card from Augsberg, where toxc is from,

Woo Hoo bring on the paints,

Wolfen Warrior is first to be given love!!!

Cheers everyone, he has been fun to paint!

@ NSA- He he! If I slowed down I would stop, have been ill this week and off work, so managed to get some painting time in (which has been handy as I am a very slow/lazy painter!)

@ Rev (still lovin you BTW!) Cheers, the vine is a brass etched plant that has been draped over the base and painted. I bought these from an ebay store, but I won\'t give you the details as I was not satisfied with them. Thew were qiute pricey too, £7 for a sheet the size of a credit card, and took the best part of 2 weeks to arrive :mad: .(they arrived the day after Golden Demons too, so I could not use them on my entry!) I have since seen some in the CMON store and they seem more reasonably priced too.

@ Bigshark (I left thenasty bit out as wev\'e spoke a fair bit on PMs now and you are far from nasty!)- Cheers, But I have been through your gallery and I am certain you could have given him the a similar level of attention. (although I am glad you never or I wouldn\'t have got me mits on him!) Sounds like you got a cool bundle too, I likes those wulfen and have to get rount to getting me some one day soon.

@ Billy- Cheers mate. That santa is comming on niceley too (sorry I meant to comment on him sooner but got caught up in my own mini- bad Dave!) It looks like a real interesting piece, whats going on there? I looks like Santa has a big barrell of booze and someone is nicking a cupful!

That\'s pretty much the size of it. OnisLair included a few drinking dwarves in my pack. This one is the barrel holder and the outfit coupled with the Christmassy feeling of getting these prezzies compelled me to go for the santa look. I only had about half an hour to make start but just had to do it while the idea was fresh in my mind. I\'m going away for a week but when I get back I\'ll have a couple of weeks worth of quality painting time (wife and kid will be away) and I\'ve got big plans for the dragon I got too :idea:

I am glad that the parcel arrived, and you like my choice of miniatures :)

I also want to say thank you to all the people who posted pictures of their minis, I am always so curious what people receive from their exchange-buddies.

I got your minis, Meridian. Dude those are some sweet minis! You chose some that are very \'me\'.

I love undead stuff specially the ringwraith looking guy! What line is that from? That mini is so damn awesome... in fact all of them are great. I\'ll be painting the undead warrior guy first then probably the wraith like one.

Also first time I\'ve painter Reaper (shame on me), Vosiphur looks good as does Randall..

Yeh hasslefree sell them too i think, i\'ve not bought any yet but i might they look great.

Sorry for the poor pictures, had to get some shots up today for the Golden toadstool competition and the best I could do without the camera and set up I am used to. Will get him in my Gallery when I get better pics.

Im so Glad to see that you got the mini\'s I sent you and that you are happy with all of them. The ringwraith looking one is one of Reapers newer mini\'s that I just happen to see out of the corner of my eye while looking at some GW mini\'s at my local gameing store and thought to myself that he looked so cool I just have to buy him.
I will be watching your WIP avidly to see how it all comes together.

Oh sorry Arma, I also forgot to add in my last reply that the name of that mini that is your WIP is called \" King of the Dead \" just incase you wanted to know.

It\'s a great sculpt! I can\'t wait to paint it.. probs get some basecoating done tonight! I\'m thinking worn red and gold for the armour. Not too sure on the capes... maybe a deeper red/brown...blacks/greys.. hmm

Very good work I especially like the head, you must have painted 16 hours a day, during the last week.

Heres mine

many thanks to absolutrudy for this model.I added a greenstuff orb and tried to do some OSL on it.What do you think??

edit:just a quick extra point after 2 votes the mini was at 8.5 after 4 its on 5.8...

N1 orkydave thats amazing work, not only the standard but the turnaround.

It takes me months to paint to that standard.
