I would like to see a whole buttload of different drunk people, drunk adventurers, drunk angry barbarians, drunk space wanderers and aliens. They would be fun to make maquettes with.

I\'d love to see some Cenobyte figs. Something that looks like it came from the perturbed mind of Clive Barker. Dark Eldar kinda touch on it with a few of their figs, but not really.

How about some minis based on Brian froud\'s artwork, (Labyrinthe. The Dark Crystal, Faeries & Goblins)?
Also some (more, I know there are a few) \"casualty\" minis. Leave your dead and wounded where they fall. :|~

Battlestar Galatica

O.K. I`m a nerd...but I was thinking how cool would it be to have ALL the BSG charicters and cylons in metal...

I mean all of `em...

Starbuck,Bommer,Apollo...even the kid the robo mutt and the hot girls with their long hair and tight lil light bronw good guy suites on....;)

Then in contrast you would have all types of black and silver Cylon robos in neat poses...with Boltar and a few of the other bad guys from yhe show....:)

I would buy `em!lol:cool:

BSG

Battle Star Gallactica

a popular 70`s early 80`s Sci-Fi tv show, and a series or books that also had a big screen movie.

Death Machines destroy mankind, except for a single battle star, cool but old and cheesy now,but I liked it...lol..think old star trek with better special effects, and only a few aliens.

The whole thing was based off Fred Saberhegans awesome stories...the Berserker Wars...about a race of intelegent deadly robots programed to kill ALL life...they where built for a galactic war centuries ago,and won, then killed there builders to...:)

...when they met us and what they did is what the stories are focused on,but we humans cuased them more trouble then the machine race expected us to give them.

lol:cool:

I think that you can best see the influince of Saberhagens works in movies like BSG The Terminator, and Part 2 TII,and also the Star Trek Borg concept, some of the robots in the animated \"Robot Carnival\",that big robo from \"Judge Dread\",and many of the odd looking robos in \"Star Wars\" like IG88 and others...all of this styl and concept was in The Berserker Wars novels in the 60`s and 70 `s and it is all just a rip of Saberhagans works...yes even useing time travel to fight the machines,lol...it was all in the books Saberhagan wrote.

...That is O.K. cuase I know that Freds work live on,and his influnce is seen in all sci-fi media, now and then....so when I see movies like \"Virus\",(with Jamie lee Curtis) and see the killing machines,I just think...\"Oh Look,a Zerker!\"

The actuale Berserkers where cool as hell...and come to think of it that styl of old school robot would make an awesome line of sci-fi figures....I`m in fact doing a few dios with the berserkers in mind, for my \"Mystic Models\" line like one death machine in combat with a red hot babe fighting in a coridore mabey.

..so you can see what they looked like and why I say that the modern idea of death robos is a TBW`s rip off....I have one of the OLD way out of print novels that had a black and white drawing for the opening of each chapter, them Zerkers was cool man!

The stories where ahead of there time.

Well imatation is the high form of flatery they say.:D

The Vypers and Drones from BSG where very popular,so I would not be surprised to see a tabel top space battle game based off the series.

Captain Starbuck

Starbuck was super-cool in a shaggy hair sort of way. I had a dream once in which a little girl said to me, \"You\'re funny... in a Starbuck sort of way.\"

Was Starbucks named after that character?

Anyway, BSG was an awesome series. I remember seeing the movie when I was but a lad. Don\'t forget a figure of the women with four eyes and two mouths. Hubba, hubba! When I was younger I thought they were gross, but now I see the attraction.;)

And since this post is leaning towards cheesy 70s and 80s sci-fi, how about some models of Buck Roggers. Only the super-coolest space man of all time. Look out ladies.

I wish someone made Car Wars figs and vehicles in 28mm. I would also like to see some of the characters from \"Heavy Metal\", especially the alien dudes who were heavy into pharmacuticals!

Larsonous Series

Funny, because both Galactica and Buck Rogers were produced by Glen A. Larson, and in both movies and series, the joystick controls they usd to pilot the vipers and those funny white ships in Buck Rogers were identical.
Now Starbuck, there was a hero. He rivalled Kirk (almost)....
By the way, it was Lieutenant Starbuck, and his sidekickk was Captain Apollo...

after some more thought, I was thinking about more entry level characters. Reaper has great PC\'s but they all appear to be 10+ level.

There\'s a series of figs for the Cthulhu range that has the same character at different degrees of madness - why not Fantasy RPGers in different degrees of experience.

For example (these would be in three figure packs) One would be the character with simple equipment, little adornment and fairly young in appearance.
Two would be as an adult with better equipment - a better or bigger weapon? bejewled maybe, maybe have an adult sized beard and finally a veteran version - with long beard maybe even battle damaged equipment to indicate long campaign experience - or on the other side well tailored and impeccable equipment to reflect their success and status in the world.

> That guy was so cool.in the 70`s...lolit`s funny that Apollo the main mans son (Adama) was his side kick, and not the other way around...remeber the episode where StarBuck and a Cylon where stranded on a desrt planet?
LOL...but yeah your right Zappy...that was cool...and it was actualy based on the greatest cyber war stories ever, see my Fred Saberhagan rant a view post up........:innocent::cool:

Wish someone would make some good Dr Who models. Not a fan, but I do like the idea of Daleks and Cybermen invading different times be they historic, present day or future! I know there\'s some out there, but they aren\'t that good.

I\'d like to see someone produce a comprehensive range of WWII minis. How many times do you see mortar teams set up and firing but no models showing how the mortar would be carried by its crew? Same applies to all support weapons. I\'d like to see every uniform and weapon represented. There\'s some great little known units and uniforms that just never get sculpted. What about the German Muslim SS troops and their fez\'s? The German Free India troops and their turbans? Ski troops? Loads of stuff!

What about a good range of fantasy figures that is aimed at the gamer? Remember good old rank and file? Less focus on characters. And orcs that look mean and evil rather than drunken frat boys.

Aaaaah... all the ideas hurt my brain! Someone please make all the figures I want and stop the agony.

:D
