Yeah, I sent more than one to clear out stuff, also they were pretty small, so one didn\'t seem enough :)

I really need to be able to get to my parents, most of the stuff here is things I want to paint, but I have cupboard loads of stuff there I\'ll never paint :)

@No Such Agency : You were just lucky they weren\'t on strike ;).

Concerning clean up details on this type of resin : it\'s a lot harder (as in resistance of the material) than plastic. Just chip away the mold line (if any, usually, the main body is fairly well cast) with an exacto blade. Spray primer, no need to clean up under water (the ones I tried didn\'t have any release grease). Glue with super glue. Plastic glue will not work.

Hope that helps ;).

Looks like I will be painting an ogre after all ;)

I just received from DragonPaint this awesome ZZ Top-like ogre :flip: :
Ogre1.jpg

Sorry for my lack of culture, but what company made him? I know I\'ve already seen him somewhere but I can\'t recall where :p. [edit]Stupid me ... it was written under the base : Grenadier :p[/edit]

Thanks DragonPaint, he\'s over the top ;).

FF, Glad you received my package...Good luck with the crab thingy! My kids really liked the (as they named her) Shield Maiden. My favorite was the dwarf, I have never painted a dwarf before! I wont get to it this weekend as I am off to take my neices for visitation :|~ and have to work next weekend....:|~:|~
Thanks again,

@ Green_Stuff I think your Ogre maybe an old Grenadier cast but I am not sure as they usually stamped the manufacturers name under the base. Now I have finished my last work I can now make a start on the mini Gez sent me. I will hopefully have a before pic up sometime tomorrow depending on how I get on.

Alrighty, I\'ve tried to figure out what this thing is so that I can paint it up properly but I\'m stumped. It\'s stamped 1983 TSR on the bottom of it.

I thought it might have been a crabman, but not with that head and DM of DOOM thought perhaps it was something from Gamma World line (did they even make a miniature line?).

Anyhow, here it is in all its glory, with battle damage from the missing leg thingey too!

I\'m happy you like it, it\'s an old Grenadier Ogre, part of the Barbarians command group for the Fantasy Warriors line.

well partner- I have found your man- he\'s coming to you tommorow:D
@ last partner- did you ever get those Star Wars figs and the elfie birdman thing?
See, I don\'t know what site to go to see the finished figs.

I\'ve been a bit busy the last few days and haven\'t managed a proper section yet for the miniatures but I\'ll make it a bit of a priority over the next day or three as I\'m able.

It don\'t happen very often but I do like being right. :D

Sadly due to a very busy night shift last night I have not managed to start mine yet. :(

Here\'s hoping for tomorrow now. :)

I have to be honest: I don\'t intend to start painting my mini right away.
There\'s just too much stuff to paint, so I\'m leaving it to the end of February :~(
