It\'s true 28mm scale. making it very fine and fiddly. Thanks for the compliment. I\'m still very unsure about my skills when it comes to NMM. Just starting to finally get the concept a little better. Not one part of the mini as I showed in the wip is completely finished yet though.

Cool looking blue critter by the way.

And here he is.. my first Tom Meier sculpt paintjob. About 5 times harder to do than I had guessed.

Unfortunatly these were the best pictures I was able to make. And photobucket and placing it on here seemed to have crappyfied the picks even more. Ah well atleast I have proof I did my ME4 painting :D

I tried to paint a marble effect for once on the base. The big square tiles were perfect for it. I think it came out oke. I am gonna try and use that more often. It\'s fun to do.

Wow, Cindy, this is a great miniature AND a great paint job as well. Much better than the WIP one.
One can see it\'s supposed to be marble, but some improvement suggestions: Try to get some really smooth, grey blending and then paint some outstanding, white \"lightnings\" onto that. Looks really nice, a Golden Demon winner I know showed me how to paint amazing marble. Unfortunately I forgot most of that tecdhnique, but these two points are what I remember...

Wow Cindy, that looks great. I do agree that those are very hard to paint. You almost have to completly do them in washes to show the intricate detail. Yours looks great. :p

Thank you, glad you like it. Yep I used a lot of washes and some minor drybrushing in places. Techniques I had started to use a lot less. Unfortunatly the result is a bit rougher looking than I would have liked (not to bad, en in rl it looks good... but showing enough on the picture not to place in on cmon for voting. But he does look rather cool on my miniature shelves. I placed him such that he\'s facing off Heresy\'s Azaroth (not the big netherlord ofcourse but still a big demon). Or rather looks like he is running away fast as his legs can carry him lol

Howdy

Ok... (hangs head in shame....... :() I can not make the deadline (or even close....). I, like I am sure many others have, did my best, but the figure(s) never quite got finished.

I promise to post pics (even if the thread has died down - lol) as I WILL finish - hahahahah.

I just have to say, as well, that the pics showing up are GREAT!

peace :D

Technically, you guys still have some time.

The sign-up has begun for the next, but until that one begins on Sept. 10 you have \'till then to finish your ME4 (and 4.5) minis. I had thought I had given everyone more time with the new schedule, with 71 days of each exchange, rather then the two months of the previous ones. My mistake was counting the \'NEW\' three week sign-up, which was supposed to help me catch most of the late-comers.

So, OFFICIALLY, the three week sign-up period is still part of the painting period now and for all future exchanges I run. This will give everyone the 71 days I had originally intended. Sorry to any of you who felt rushed. - Mark

OH YEAH! Now he tells us!

(The only problem here is that the more time we have, the more we will procrastinate)

Right?

Please tell me I\'m not the only one!!!

Okay, pretend I didn\'t say any of that.

Way to go Mark! Thanks for the extra time. I\'ll still try to post within a day or two.

lol :bouncy: :p

Oh, by the way, this is my official notice...TO INCLUDE ME FOR ME5!!!!!

Okay one of mine\'s done (thanks dachande).....

This was a mixed mini for me - the good in that it was the first Rackham that I\'ve painted and also the first snow base I\'ve done.

The bad in that as I fixed him to the base ready for varnishing he got dropped and snapped in two.... Still a bit of re-gluing and touch up kind of fixed him.

So pic :

And the gallery link : Here (different shots)

Amazing. Another great ME paintjob. I feel so ashamed...

Bad luck what happened to your mini, peteh... Where was the wolf broken? Besides: Great fur and metallics.
