@mpj - What are those FASA miniature boxes? Those aren\'t the Star Trek minis I have heard about but never seen, are they?

@ Supervike: Them are Boobies! OK, really that\'s the Ral Partha AD&D line Formorian Giant.

@ Treide: Those are Ral Partha \'Dragon of the Month\' dragons released after FASA took over for a short stint.

hee hee I think vikes signature says it all..
I had a clear out last week.
I mainly paint for commission now so am always dipping into my stash so rarely throw anyting as I would kick myself in the head if I threw away say a kroot shoulder pad and then got a commission for a conversion that meant I had to buy that part....
The whole idea was a really solid sort out hin out the boxes..
I ended up getting rid of one box of sprues.......I spent 4 days just clipping components off of sprues and organising in plastic drop drawers.
currently got thousands and thousands of minis ....Being an ex GW staffer this collection was mainly my wages ...........my problem is everything I look at I have an idea for what it can be used for so don\'t want to get rid.

I do now however hve a firm rule.
I keep a few models out to work on..
usually a character/conversion a regiment or squad and a training model.
I then work on each in turn and use the character and practise to break up the regiments.
Getting rid of all the other half finished and primed stuff made a big difference to the amount of stuff I actually produced as I wasn\'t distracted.

love them photos it\'s like a hobby crack den...

I think i only have at most 50 unpainted miniatures and maybe, maybe that many painted but most are in another state. I would have had alot more but werll, three years without a job kind of limits you to about 1 mini every few months. Of course right now it doesn\'t help that some ass stole my bank info and drained my account today. So there goes Christmas swirlign down the drain and a possable 90 day wait to maybe get my money back.

The one on the wall above my paint area is from Reaper, it\'s one of their store display racks. A local reseller was getting rid of his inventory of RMS paints so I bought the lot and had him throw in the rack.

I did the same thing ages ago with some GW paint racks. Using 2 of them, and threw the third away as no one wanted it.
