This one looks far more better than the rest, like more focused and maybe precise. At least from the pics and vid. Go go go! ^^

it definitely is, glad to see its noticable! In hand its like night and day. Stupid me decided to use a grey primer, wide spray to make it grey. There ended up being fuzzy stuff on the tips of a lot of the spikes. The next print will get sprayed grey with the correct paint, I just need to actually learn a good base paint to use...maybe look on these forums for that :)

I like your sculpts very much but I feel the prints don't do them justice. That grainy surface looks way too rough for those fine details. Since layering 3d-printers for hobby-use are able to reach layers as thin as 0.02mm I feel professional solutions should be able to reach even finer levels of detail. I guess your miniatures are produced on a powder based machine?

I wish I had your talent with sculpting. Digitally or with the real thing. Simply amazing.

Yeah, its layered printing and I totally agree with your comments. These are really just prototype prints to get an idea if Ill be able to get the detail I want. Down the road, once the first 10 are done I definitely plan on using an external company for major printing then molds for copies.

Thanks :)

An older sculpt I did for "New World Earth" A mini kick starter just ended for people to pick up a series of 8 minis, the creature above is one, another, its got a rider and 6 other minis. The character below is a 60mm print of the larger beast. The others are 30-32mm tall. (Open pic in new tab to make larger)
