Great start moe those skin tones look great, what colour are you doing the armour ?

I use said stuff all the time. Although, you'll find spray primers better with larger scale. Save the brush on for tiny stuff.

Ok i don't know why but i have been prepping kits to paint. Not to paint them, but rather just to get them ready when the mood strikes me. That said, one of the kits i was prepping was a lineage 2 dark elf ORI kit. And then i decided to start on her.
This is her out of the box and 595859 layers of bubble wrap:
When you do these kits there are slug wells that need clipped and sanded. Sometimes they may seem like they are in a bad spot, but with light sanding it isn't so bad:
But don't go overboard on the sanding. I got a little carried away on the top of this leg :
Got everything puttied up here:
I used the white surface primer in 3 thin coats. I didn't have to add any water to it as it was just about right for me. I let them dry for a good 16 hours. I'm going to go for a ebony skinned dark elf as that is how I have always known them. You know? The ones from Menzoberranzan ? Or something of that nature. It was also a good excuse to use these colors for the first time:

Oh sweet!!!! Looking fantastic! (By the way, I got a $2 coupon for starting a WIP on E2046.com.) Spent it immediately on A Touch of Ice so she should be on her way from Hong Kong.
But lovin' the start you've got. I too adore the Reaper dark elf colors, but I can't get them to go quite the direction I want. I usually start out, strip, then figure out something else. lol! The closest I've come is on my Ashantyr Wolfen both the bronze medal winner at ReaperCon and the one I'm doing now. But even then I usually end up mixing like Twighlight or Dusky Skin in there too. Blue Liner full strength gives impressive results as well with those colors.
Okay, that means I better get my butt in gear.

@TrystanGST Yours is one of the wips i was referring too what do you use to buff them out? cotton? or is there another type of material that works better?

@WSG Thanks. That is a good question. What do you think? I bought two of these. One to paint as she was meant to be and one i am going to convert into something else. The something else has to be either red skinned or red outfit, so i want to use a different color.

You'll know what i mean when you see it. Do you plan on useing the hair that came with medusa's gaze or do you plan on doing something else...I should probably be asking you that in your thread...

hehe! No worries! The sheer clothing, yes I know what ya mean. I don't know if you remember my attempts with that technique using acrylics trying to get something together for ReaperCon 2012. So close - then I'd bomb it and have to strip.
But got it figured out with the pigments. I used the technique on the Elf Assassin and her stockings. I'll post pics after I get my manuscript off to the editor later to day. Back soon!

I've been doing a lot of purple lately on other projects. I dunno, i may give it a go.

Next i will hit the highest points with some of the Brightest color to bring out some spots. I am still thinking about her outfit... I know that the reaper stuff is on the way... I could do a gloss black quicky to it, but that would be the cheap and easy way to finish her. I was thinking maybe a pred or a rurple color. Or, perhaps, a shade change from red to purple from her boots and arm parts...or vice versa....Or maybe colored metallics.. I am up for suggestions.

Those skin tones really starting to pop now ! Pred and rurple are cool but how about dark blue starting from black and working up ?

He liked it a lot and I think it might be useful in my own WIP as well.
I am far from an expert but from what i have read and from my own experiences there is no "proper" formula for your AB mix. I have found a system that works for me though and i will be happy to share it with you. Keep in mind that what works for me might not work for you, due to humidity, paint viscosity, region, or whatever life factors that may be apparent. The mix that Les' uses doesn't work that well for me, and he says the same thing: "Experiment and use what works for you."
I have been buying 2oz dropper bottle from a guy on ebay and using those for my mixes. LOVE them. Since i have switched to those paint mess has been null and wasted paint is minimal. The paints don't dry out and they shake up great.
More or less use 1/4 of the bottle for paint and 1/2 the bottle for distilled water:
I then add 10 DROPS of Liquitex flow aid and 20 DROPS of Liquitex drying retarder.
This leaves 1/4 of the bottle empty. Not all paints are created equal, so I use that to thicken, thin some more, add matte medium or whatever you have to do to make yourself happy with the paint. I have also found that this mix is very close to my brush work mix, so as i use the colors, I am switching to the premixed bottles. Inadvertantly I have found that I can keep stock on exactly how much paint I have left in the factory vma/reaper bottles so i know when I'll need to order more.
For about 90% of the Reaper and VMA and VMC, I don't have to modify the formula very much. This will work for the old and new GW paints also. BUT, your going to find you will have to fiddle with the formula a lot more with their new line. At least for me anyways. I can buy two bottles of black and one will be like grape jelly and the other one runs like water. I have not tried this with any P3 paints yet as i do not own any of those. Andrea paints work with this ratio as well, but they have a nasty odor when they go through the airbrush. That reminds me. Wear a mask when you AB stuff

I couldn't find the mix stuff that Andrew from schnauzerfaceminis, but i think its close to what i use.
If you are having a lot of tip dry issues, you may need to add a bit more flow aid or retarder. I also use needle juice, which works about half as well they say it does. But half as well is better then nothing at all. One bottle of that will last you for years unless you spill it like i did
