And since i said i'd post the finished cat girl when the contest was over..Here she is:

I couldn't get them to post to my gallery for voting. When i upload it says its too big, when i use the link is like above it says it cannot make a thumbnail. What am i doing wrong?

Meow! I really need to try my hand at some larger scale stuff. It looks like fun. I have my eye on samus from e2046.

Very nice on the cat girl sir. The new girl looks very promising, i am liking the skin a whole lot. I am glad to see the chaotic wonderland continues on schedule.

Thanks Milosh!

@KB Yes I do. I didn't use it on her though. I was trying W/N masking fluid. In my limited experience with it, I see I need to thickin it up a tad. The blue spots on her skin are easily corrected. In the pic, i was excited to see the unmasked pieces together so i knew if i was going in the right direction or not. I haven't cleaned the parts yet.

Oh I had a nightmare with the masking fluid once. *shudder* Not a pretty sight. I rarely mask (no airbrush) but after the disaster I started using Blue Tack and Silly Putty - those were much better.

Moe - she's looking fantastic! I definitely have to come back to working on my girls (they're in the rotation, lol!) because my package arrived from E2046 today! I've got my Touch of Ice model. whoo hoo! She's gorgeous! A bit smaller than the others. I can't wait to start working on her.

Thanks guys.

I have 4 kits prepped to be primed or are primed. I have also been working on the DE, but the Bones arrived. I couldn't resist of course. The sexiest mini of them all cried out to be painted the most. And here he is getting prepped...

"Primed" with Twilight purple out of the bottle.

Changing it up a bit:

Worked on the head a bit. I think he is starting to come about. As you can see he is one sexy guy:

Those tentacles are sharp. I was drooling over mine, but had to go on a road trip to the inlaws for Independence Day.

What else did you get on the add ons?

(I thought it was weird when my spell checker stopped flagging on Cthulhu.)
Iä! Iä! Cthulhu ftghan!!
This looks so nice already- but is there more to the head? Those flat areas seem a but off to me, as I'm used to seeing bulbous protuberances or the octopus breathing "spouts" there.

Really cool... Stop posting these pictures... Mine still not shipped, waiting for almost a year and seems that everybody else on the forum still got it :(

But still really cool start, like the tones, I believe I will use slightly the same, but for the body I will go more to a green/yellow mixed purple/red.

@KB I wish i had gotten them to be honest :) I also got Nethermaul, Kaldrax, Wyrmgear, all of the dragons EXCEPT ebonwrath ARRRGGG! I say that cause I got an extra Storm giant set. I think i clicked the wrong thing but never caught it. The male storm giant reminds me of some old pictures of Hercules I've seen so I think I shall slightly convert one.

@Chrispy Yes there is. I have been pleasantly surprised at the details some of the bones mini's actually have. I think its the white gloss of the material that makes the detail kinda fuzz out to the eye. But put a coat of paint on it, even just matte white, and the details pop out a lot more. I'll post some more head shots when my work rotation ends so you can see for yourself.

@boubi Sorry my friend, i do understand your pain :) I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do with them. Hopefully you won't have to wait much longer. I was thinking of doing an orange/yellow for the belly.

@Alexandra Thanks! Your birdy is looking pretty good btw.

Brought out the green some today and worked on the head a bit more. In this pic you can see the difference in the two legs:

He looks good. But i would push the contrasts alot more, then glaze them down afterwards with yellows, reds and purples to get some depth and zing to the green.
