That looks fantastic. Seeing this army on the tabletop would be amazing.
The transitions seem a little abrubt on the caparisons of the horses. But I am puzzled as to how to solve that, since a gentle fade is out of the question (how do you paint the part in the middle half-dead?!)
The only bit I\'m confused about is the second rank of knights - I don\'t understand why the backs of each horse are lit. At least not down to the ground, anway.
Oh, and if i were you i would make the flames brighter. Light sources look best when lighter than the \'light\' they emit.

Nevertheless the good far outweighs the bad.

Having the Grail Knights blessed would indeed be rather neat. Have them with bare heads perhaps, glowing complexions and so on, really emphasise their health compared to the rest of the army.

If you\'re looking for more ideas, i\'d have Questing Knights all carrying light sources, to better show their independence (hooves and lower parts can still be decaying to continue the style). Also, who can\'t like the idea of a lone questing knight carrying a torch on his travels not to ward off monsters but to stop himself being one?

Now i\'m out of ideas. Damsels need something interesting, so I leave that to the next person...

If you plan on doing a unit of pegasus knights you might want to take a look at some of the tomb king carrion wings. I figure if you do a unit of three you could have the center knight with the light source and then the other two knights would be living on one half and dead on the other. I hope that made sense lol. Keep it up and keep posting pictures.

@ flightless.. The second rank knights have got the lighting that way at the moment as there is to be slightly more lighting to add. This will be in the form of lanterns on back banners mainly on character in front rank..
I have still got to iron out where the light and shadows will fall fully but coming along nicely...
As for the lone hero way ahead of you there that is probably the thing that most got me ticking on the whole idea.. as well as a Hippogriff mounted guy I will be doing several other characters including a couple with the effect of etherealism as they pass through objects on their lower half..
Nice idea on the questing knights Those guys carry so much stuff around the addition of their own light sources shouldn\'t pose too much of a prob..

@emopainterguy.. Have had a look at the carrion wings but way too chunky and look unbalanced on the pegasus.. Agre with the formation though central guy spilling light to those around .. The other idea I had was to put the light source in the base so they look living from below..

Great input from all keep it up and I will have more pics shortly..

 lookin good! This might be something cool to do with some IG, instead of skeletons, Imperial zombies. though, you\'ll have to put the unit in the same order every game.

Yeah, the wings are rather chunky, and I think they might be a little small too. Just figured I should mention them as they are GW product (so the army stays tournament legal), and they are already made undead feathered wings, so they wouldnt need to be converted.

I know what you mean on that front.. I am currently playing with the plastic pegasus wings cutting out feathered areas and replacing with dead bits of greenstuff sculpt as well as bits of skelly arms etc to pad out bone structure..

@redsevenblue I have each one numbered always do this anyway as I like to model regiments with movement in them and ranking can be a bitch..Also I use 40mmsquare bases in some of the Foot units to make almost little dioramas..Hopefully though if I can nail the paint effects right the models will piece together naturally...
