Movies you will never see

Since someone has the favourite movie list going, how about movies you refuse to see (even if it is on free telly and you have nothing else to do).

My main two are
Titanic
Star wars 3 (revenge of the Sith - Lucus stole enough of my life watching the first to piles of shiite :cussing: )

For starters...

  • Sound of Music (difficult to avoid but managed so far)
  • Brokeback Mountain (that\'s not what cowboys do)
  • Sister Act 1 & 2 (obviously)
  • Anything with Meryl Streep (I\'m not a girl!)
I\'m sure there\'ll be more later...

Titanic and Zoolander. Ben Stiller just isn\'t that funny...maybe he gets a few laughs the first time you watch a movie of his...but it\'s never funny the second time. I\'m more of a Mr. Bean or Everybody Loves Raymond type funny.

I\'ve managed to avoid TItanic. One film I\'m refusing to watch is Audition. I know enough about it that I\'m disturbed just thinking about it, forget watching it. Here\'s a few that are bad enough for all of you to avoid:

Redneck Blood Sucking Vampires
Gory Gory Hallelujah.

Rented for the tacky names. But they were bad enough to not even make it onto MST3K

Most of Disneys animation stuff, like the lion king and alladin and other such rubbish.

The best stuff to watch iMO is all the horror B movies from the 50\'s that used to be on BBC 2 at 2am! Classic stuff with great dun dun dur them thunes!

Lets see, there are just so many...
Any Fast and Furious
Snakes on a Plane
Brokeback Mountain
Titanic
That craptastic Crow 4 (You know it\'s sad when Tera Reid does better acting then David Boreanaz in it)
Speaking of that... virtually anything with Tera Reid.

Just remembered, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. From the state of excorsist the beggining, i think it will be best to stay away from this one!

Those I have not seen, and refuse to:
- Snakes on a Plane
- Anaconda
- Fast and Furious
- Dungeons and Dragons

Those I couldn\'t stomach, and ran out halfway through:
- Sound of Music
- South Pacific

Those I have regretably seen all the way through:
- Titanic
- Independence Day
- That dreadful LOTR animation

Mine are:
Apollo 13
Fast and the furious (and all derivatives)
Torque
Snakes on a plane
Battlefield Earth
anything by that Shymalyan guy
... and probably a lot more that I can\'t think of right now.

BTW, I\'m actually surprised at how many that refuse to watch Brokeback Mountain. It\'s a bloody great film, IMO. Great acting, great script, great photography, great music... not much to complain about at all, really.

Scooby Doo 2

The Ya-Ya Sisterhood

And anything that is rated a \"Must See Feel Good Movie!\"

Actually, \"Silkwood\" is a really good movie. Of course it\'s not a typical Meryl Streep movie either.

As for my list:
- \"Brown Bunny\", or anything else by the repulsive troll Vincent Gallo
- Any film about 9/11 (at least for the next few decades, until some historical perspective is achieved)
- \"The Passion of the Christ\"
- \"Karla\" (no frickin way)
- anything with a title similar to \"Night of the Friday the 13th Nightmare XVII: Jason Vs. Freddy in Hell\" (including \"Alien vs. Predator\")

I would not have seen \"Titanic\" either, except that a housemate owned it, and I was really bored one day. Plus I\'d heard Kate Winslet\'s titties were in it :D

IMDB: \"Based on real events, Paul Bernardo (Collins) and his wife, Karla Homolka (Prepon), kidnap, sexually abuse, and murder three young girls.\"

It\'s a musical, right?

for me, anything of the form \"(adjective) Movie (number)\"

Fast and the furious sucks old men\'s balls.
I hate it.

I THOUGHT I would also hate gone in 60 seconds, but it\'s more than just gayed-up cars - and Nic Cage can actually ACT :p

Having SAID that, I still wouldn\'t rate gone in 60 seconds as a favourite - I was just comparing it to the steaming pile of diarrhoea that is the fast and the furious.

Oh by the way:

\"I miss you almost as much as Ben Affleck sucked in Pearl Harbor\"...
Or however that song goes ;P lol

I agree with Ritual - Brokeback Mountain was actually a good flick. The subject matter may be a bit hard to stomach for some, but I suppose that is also why \"gay-bashing\" exists. Get over it, people.

I refuse to watch Saturday Night Live skits that are made into movies - \"Superstar\", \"Night at the Roxbury\", etc. I admit I saw the first \"Wayne\'s World\", but in retrospect, I\'m not sure why I enjoyed it.

Sci Fi Channel has made some real stinkers - \"Mansquito\", anyone?
