eee, Sandra Bullock\'s never been one of my favourites. \'28 Days Later\' though, that gave me the willies

Still, and I saw it in October.
I know the movie-rentin\' deadline\'s been and gone, but, for future movie-block:
I second the \'Equilibrium\' motion - suprisingly good even though it starts a little poorly. Sean Bean tends to be cool.
Comedy - try \'Amelie\' - it\'s a quirky sweet little french movie that is extremely funny in a lot of ways. The narrator speaks quickly though so if you\'re a slow reader, unless you understand spoken french, watch the subtitles closely at those points.
If you\'re in the mood for something dumb, \'Death Machine\' is a classic

For dumb comedy, I rather like \'Bring it On\' - a) cheerleaders, whee! b) kinda tongue-in-cheek so bizarrely appealing (I know there\'s an obvious joke there, old pervs need not apply

)
Anything Tarantino tends to be a good watch (Jackie Brown was much better than I thought it would be). Jeunet and Caro (Amelie, Delicatessen, City of Lost Children) are good.
Run Lola Run (Lola Rennt) is definitely worth seeing - I\'m not sure what category it comes under, but it\'s very watchable, if short. I generally don\'t like big dramas since I\'m usually getting out movies to veg a bit - it\'s not one of those.
Just saw a funny little movie called The Big Empty with Jon Favreau in it - again, kinda quirky. And hey, Sean Bean\'s in that one too! I\'m sounding like I have a crush - I just think he\'s good. I *actually* have a sorta-crush on Johnny Depp which seems to be fairly standard for women in my age group. If you want funny with a need to think, American Splendor is very cool - flicks in and out of movie and semi-documentary style.
