I agree with the others as it's not bad for a rush job. At least it's clean which is all you can ask for:). The gore though seems... flat.

well, I'm sorry to say I didn't win the competition (although the guy who did had spent over 6 months on his model, the entire top three were great guys) but i came 4th :p

I could have done better if i'd have had more time. the robe and scarf are a bit bland, they miss something to make them pop, maybe stronger highlight or something...

the gore has been given a extra bit of blood red, to make it stand out just a bit more.

and I'm sorry to say the judges never even noticed my two red lines, so there's a failed experiment XD

I might decide to update this mini at some later point, but for now it's done.
time for the next project. time to get back to my inquisitor.

Thank you for all the help and tips (mostly by TBS)

I don't mind losing ths way, there's always 4-5 really great guys with top-quality mini's.
1st place went to a guy who ended with the last 5 at this years Demon (his son ended 2nd in joungbloods and won the intermediate comp today O.O)

best thing yet, these guys are setting up a sort off painting club... and I'm invited :D

let's see what this brings forth :p

You had a couple weeks to work on your mini and you bag 4th place. Imagine the possibilities if you take more time on your next project. Great job, Mourner; hats off to you. :)

Cheers!
